The return landing system technology is a necessary guarantee for the successful recovery of the vertical takeoff and vertical landing(vtvl)reusable launch vehicle.In this paper,the deployment and locking mechanism of the vertical takeoff and vertical landing launch vehicle is the study object,and its structural design,working process,strength performance,stability,deployment characteristics and experimental comparison are researched.The main contents are as follows:According to the overall parameters and technical indicators of a launch vehicle,the overall layout of the carrier’s landing system is designed,and the detailed structure design of the deployment and locking mechanism in the landing system is made to meet the deployment,locking and carrying tasks.Finite element softwares are used to establish finite element static model,dynamic model,and stability analysis model for the key points of the deployment and locking mechanism.The static strength calculation,the dynamics calculation and the mechanism stability Analysis are made.The calculation results show that the stress,deformation and force of the mechanism are within the safe range,and the mechanism is stable under axial compression.Based on the working principle of the deployment and locking mechanism and the deployment process of the landing system,a deployment dynamic model of the return landing system is established.After Establishing mechanical structure model and pneumatic drive model,the aero-mechanical joint simulation is taken through the interface module to discuss the influences of whether there is aerodynamic resistance,air supply pressure,pressure relief valve outlet pressure,outrigger inlet and exhaust port area,the launch vehicle’s falling speed,the arrow body’s overload,and the arrow’s inclination angle on deploying motion.According to the overall layout of the landing system and the deployment and locking mechanism,an equal-scale prototype,landing system model and deployment test system ared designed.The deployment test of the carrier is carried out using this test system.Through the analysis of the test results and the dynamic model,it is verified that the deployment and locking mechanism meets the design and use requirements,and provides a basis for further design and improvement.
