Shipping is the most important transportation channel for international trade in China,and it is an important supporting industry for China’s economy.At present,about 90% of international trade in China is carried out through shipping channels.Because of the particularity of shipping companies’ business projects,shipping companies are more vulnerable to the impact of the economic cycle,resulting in business risks,financial risks and other kinds of company management risks,causing significant losses to the company’s operation,and even many companies have lost money for years due to the outbreak of the financial crisis,and are in business difficulties.With the opportunity of rapid development of the world economy and the advantage of rapid development of China’s economy,y shipping enterprise develops rapidly.However,shipping industry is the product of economic development to a certain stage and serves international trade.Therefore,y shipping enterprise needs to face huge periodic system risks in the process of development.This paper aims at the risk management of shipping enterprises in different economic cycles Research significance.Shipping industry is an industry with economic cycle risk.There are great risks in the process from purchasing,building or leasing ships to putting into operation,transporting goods,shipping,entering and leaving ports and delivering goods.Therefore,it is very necessary for the management of shipping enterprises to understand the risk level of enterprises,so as to formulate corresponding strategies according to the risk level and reduce the risk of enterprises.The research on business cycle risk management is still in its infancy,lacking systematicness.Due to the lack of research on enterprise risk management,the research on shipping enterprise risk management is even less.In view of this situation,this paper starts from the characteristics of shipping enterprises,studies the theory and method of risk management of shipping enterprises in different economic cycles,in order to provide reference for risk management of shipping enterprises.This paper first introduces the research background of risk management of shipping enterprises under the influence of economic cycle,defines the research issues,puts forward the research significance of the paper from two aspects of practical significance and research value,summarizes the research content,structure,research ideas and methods,and analyzes the innovation of the paper according to the writing ideas of the paper.Combined with the two aspects of risk problem and management under the economic cycle,this paper summarizes the research results of relevant experts and scholars at home and abroad,and sums up the theory of economic cycle,the theory of cyclical development law of shipping market,and the theory of risk management.Taking y shipping company as an example,on the basis of analyzing and studying the risk management of shipping company’s economic cycle,this paper combs the risks of Y shipping company in different stages of economic cycle,puts forward the research ideas of this paper from three angles of risk identification,risk assessment and risk response and control,and then analyzes the investment risks and financial risks of Y shipping company in different stages of economic cycle respectively And management risk.And puts forward the Countermeasures of the mentioned risks.It provides a practical reference for the study of risk management strategy of shipping enterprises.In order to provide the theoretical basis and management ideas for the decision-making level,to avoid the cyclical risk from the strategy,to prevent falling into trouble again.
