Expansive rock and soil layers are developed in jianshanying super large bridge area,Guizhou Province. In the area where expansive soil is developed, the slope of expansive soil is prone to landslide and other geological disasters, which will bring harm to regional engineering construction and people’s life and property safety. The instability of expansive soil slope is closely related to rainfall,so it is of great significance to study the stability of expansive soil slope.Under this background, this paper takes jianshanying expansive soil as the research object, obtains the soil water characteristic curve and permeability coefficient curve of jianshanying expansive soil by using tests such as filter paper test, direct shear test, free expansion rate test and no-load expansion rate test, establishes the shear strength model formul, and deduces the jianshanying expansive soil Based on the non-linear curve formula of no-load expansion rate of expansive soil, the linear expansion coefficient of moisture field of jianshanying expansive soil is calculated, and the seepage properties, shear strength characteristics and expansion deformation characteristics of expansive soil are analyzed.Based on ABAQUS finite element software, the calculation model of expansive soil slope is established.By using the secondary development technology, the dynamic change of shear strength with water content is realized by compiling user-defined subroutine, and the expansion deformation effect of expansive soil is realized. The single factor analysis method is applied to the general rainfall condition, the rainfall condition only considering the shear strength change factor and the rainfall condition only considering the shear strength change factor Analysis of slope stability under rainfall condition of swelling deformation effect.
