| Trolley bus is a type of urban traffic vehicles with complicated road conditions, frequent use of braking systems, and frequent overloading. The braking system is an important guarantee for the safe driving of trolley buses, and one of the key technologies to ensure the operation of vehicles. It is of great significance to study the braking performance of trolleybus pneumatic braking system. This paper studies the braking performance of trolleybus pneumatic braking system, analyzes the safety and stability of pneumatic braking, and provides theoretical support for the design and development of trolleybuses.Taking a certain type of trolleybus as the object, combined with the structure and characteristics of the rail vehicle and automobile braking system, the structure and principle of the trolleybus pneumatic braking system are analyzed, the working principle of the electronic brake control unit(EBCU)is studied For the braking performance requirements, various important parameters in the trolleybus braking system were analyzed and calculated separately. The braking dynamics of the trolleybus structure and wheels are analyzed, and the control strategies of the five types of braking modes, common brake, emergency brake, parking brake, backup brake and holding brake are described in detail. And vehicle control strategy;using AMESim and Matlab/Simulink simulation platform software to establish models of important parts and vehicle braking system models, and joint simulation of parameter settings. The simulation results show that under the no-load and full-load conditions, the braking distance, braking deceleration and speed-varying curves of the trolleybus at different initial speeds with time. The braking performance meets the requirements of the regulations. |
