Microwave heating of asphalt mixture is a brand new heating method.Microwave heating technology has the advantages of overall heating,rapid heating,selective heating,and little damage to the road performance of asphalt mixture.It has broad application prospects in the field of asphalt pavement maintenance.At present,the heating efficiency of microwave heating asphalt pavement maintenance equipment has become one of the factors restricting its development.There are many measures to improve the heating efficiency of microwave heating asphalt pavement maintenance equipment.The three most commonly used measures are briefly introduced below:(1)The structure of the microwave curing equipment heating device can be optimized for design,such as selecting the appropriate microwave heating device frequency Array magnetron arrangement spacing and method,waveguide opening and asphalt pavement spacing,etc.(2)The parameters of the asphalt mixture itself can be optimized and designed,such as the selection of appropriate parameters such as moisture content,gradation,porosity,oil-rock ratio of the asphalt mixture.(3)Suitable absorbing materials such as carbon black,magnetite powder and soft magnetic powder can be added to the asphalt mixture.In this paper,the use of absorbing materials in the asphalt mixture to improve microwave heating efficiency.(1)The mechanism of action of the absorbing material is studied.(2)This article uses CST microwave studio to establish a single microwave antenna heating asphalt mixture simulation model,and conducts simulation research on the three absorbing materials of carbon black,magnetite powder,and soft magnetic powder at different dosages to explore the three absorption The effect of the type and amount of wave material on the efficiency of microwave heating asphalt mixture.(3)In this paper,the effects of three types of absorbing materials,such as carbon black,magnetite powder,and soft magnetic powder,on the efficiency of microwave-heated asphalt mixture were tested through experimental methods.The simulation and experimental research results show that the three absorbing materials of carbon black,magnetite powder,and soft magnetic powder all have asignificant improvement effect on the efficiency of microwave heating asphalt mixture,and the soft magnetic powder has the most significant effect on the efficiency of microwave heating asphalt mixture.,Followed by magnetite powder,carbon black has the worst effect.In addition,with the increase of the three kinds of absorbing materials,the efficiency of microwave heating asphalt mixture gradually improved.
