As a vehicle heating device,automotive heater has a wide range of applications in various types of vehicles.At present,the domestic automotive heater’s technology has a great development,but there is still a certain gap with the similar foreign products.At the same time,traditional methods are still mainly used in the monitoring and fault diagnosis of automotive heater,being time-consuming and laborious.In this paper,according to the status quo,we take the Zhanxiang automotive heater produced by Hebei Weitai Heavy Industry Machinery Co.Ltd.as an example to build a monitoring platform and carry out intelligent fault diagnosis research for automotive heater.First of all,the principle and the hardware and software structure of automotive heater is introduced,and based on this,we design automotive heater’s monitoring software based on computer and mobile phone respectively.The design of computer-based monitoring software is mainly used to monitor the automotive heater ignition test before delivery,which can provide the basis for sale for automotive heater.And the monitoring software has been put into the factory with stable performance.The design of mobile terminal monitoring software can achieve remote control of the automotive heater by using phone’s SMS feature and it meets the user’s vehicle cab and engine preheating requirements,having great market value.Then,the principle of fuzzy logic and Back Propagation Neural Network and their application in intelligent fault diagnosis are introduced.The fuzzy logic and Back Propagation Neural Network are combined to study the fault diagnosis based on Fuzzy Neural Network.The Fuzzy Neural Network is used to train the automotive heater’s fault samples and the simulation results are good.The design of automotive heater’s intelligent fault diagnosis system is successfully realized.Finally the actual fault conditions are verified to verify the experimental result,showing that the design of the intelligent diagnosis system generally meets the requirements of automotive heater’s intelligent fault diagnosis,reaching the intended target.
