| Chemical chain combustion is a new type of combustion method.It uses the circulation of oxygen carriers to separate the redox reaction in the traditional combustion method.It has the characteristics of CO2internal separation and has great advantages in reducing the energy consumption of CO2capture potentially.The preparation and performance of oxygen carriers are important practical problems in the practical application of chemical chain combustion technology.This article focuses on a natural manganese ore(Liyang manganese ore)from the aspects of improving the particle strength of natural manganese ore as an oxygen carrier,improving the melting properties of manganese ore,and improving the reaction rate and reaction conversion rate of manganese ore as an oxygen carrier.It is hoped to investigate a kind of oxygen carrier with ideal mechanical properties and high comprehensive redox reactivity,which is close to practical application.Aiming at the lower cost and environment-friendly manganese-based oxygen carrier with soft texture,easy sintering and low activity as the research object,this paper proposes a new method for preparing oxygen carrier by mechanical mixing method with clay or kaolin.The process is simple and convenient for large batch preparation.The oxygen carrier was characterized by specific surface area(BET),X-ray diffraction analyzer,thermogravimetric analyzer(TGA)and other measurement methods.Manganese ore has the characteristics of soft texture and easy sintering.Clay or kaolin is mixed into Puyang manganese ore by mechanical mixing method,and compared with the original manganese ore by high temperature calcination,it is found that the particle strength is greatly improved after mixing with clay or kaolin,and the oxygen carrier of5%mass of kaolin is mixed Particle strength is best.Through the comparison of melting experiments,mixing the clay or kaolin can also increase the prototype temperature of the oxygen carrier,that is,the melting characteristic,thereby improving the sintering resistance of the oxygen carrier.The manganese ore oxygen carriers mixed with different proportions of hardened kaolin were impregnated with copper ions at different ratios to prepare a series of oxygen carriers,and tested for the redox reaction activity on Macro-TGA.The reducing gas was H2.The oxidation-reduction reaction rate and conversion rate of the oxygen carrier after copper ions are increased in different proportions,and there is a rule that the higher the ratio of impregnated copper ions,the better the effect.By optimizing the physical and chemical aspects of Liyang manganese ore and various experimental measurements,it was finally found that the mechanical mixing method was used to blend 5%by mass of kaolin.After calcination,the effect of increasing the particle strength was more obvious,and 2%copper ions The reaction performance after impregnation is also improved,and the economics of the preparation of the oxygen carrier can be ensured without affecting the actual operating conditions of the oxygen carrier. |
