Research On Spare Parts Inventory Strategy For Time-Varying And Priority Requirements In Performance Based Logistics

The critical equpment is an important parts in the process of running,which has high value-added and high technological complexity,and needs to get good service in after sales service.The appearance of PBL(performance based logistics)making the entire operating system more concerned about the performance of the system output,and subverting the service process to measure the standard.In the PBL service model,the supplier provides performance for the operator,and the operator pays the supplier according to the service level The model provide better incentive service for supplier and operators to make efforts to system performance.The supplier should carry out proper management of spare parts in order to ensure the requirement of the system performance.In the PBL service mode,the demand of spare parts has the characteristic about time-varying because of the changing of install scale.Under the condition of different attitudes of operators about facing unmet demands,supplier needs to make proper spare parts inventory strategies to process priority problem.(1)optimal design of spare parts inventory under backordering condition.If unmet demand would be backordering,the supplier can set stage division method and(Q,R,K)inventory management strategy to solve the problem about time-varying and priority demand.Under the inventory policy,the relationship between the stock and the service level and the total inventory cost of spare parts is studied,and the optimal model is established.(2)Optimal design of spare parts inventory under the condition of partial shortage.when there has unmet demand,the high priority demands will be lost sales,and the low priority demand will be partial shortage.For the goals the supplier profit maximization and low priority operator service level,set the inventory strategy of(Q,R,p,b),and establish the optimization model based on the maximization of the profit of the supplier.Through the simulation of A medical equipment company to verify the validity of the inventory management model,and there are the conclusions that,if the equipment failure rate is small,the operators have a limit on the level of service conditions,the spare parts inventory management strategy of critical inventory level can produce better results,and if there is no restriction on the service level,the inventory management strategy of partial backordering can also play a good effect.This paper not only enriches the relevant theoretical research,but also provides an important reference and guidance for the practical application of the combination of performance services and priority based inventory management,which is of practical significance.
