The road network system in the city constitutes the supporting framework of the city,which can effectively ensure the normal operation of urban traffic and the normal conduct of all economic activities in the city.However,in today’s rapid development of the city,almost every city is facing increasingly serious traffic problems,which seriously restricts the economic development of the city and is not convenient for people’s daily life.At present,in order to ensure the sustainable development of the city,an important task is to improve the urban road traffic problems.Urban road network is a typical complex network.The expression of urban road network system is based on the complex structural characteristics of urban road network system.Therefore,in this study,Jinan and Beijing are taken as examples.Based on the complex network theory,a single road is taken as the research object,and a new index is introduced by using the improved gravity model to analyze the road network of the two cities in detail Based on this,a hierarchical representation model of road network is proposed.The results are as follows:(1)Dual Abstract Modeling of Road Networks with Two Different Distribution ModesIt is found that the road network of Jinan City is an abstract road network between Beijing and Jinan City.Comparing two different road network modeling methods,the main method and the dual method,it is found that the dual method can highlight the relationship between entities,especially for linear features,and combine the road sections into a complete road,which can discover and reveal the new characteristics of the road network from a new perspective.(2)Hierarchical analysis of road network with two different distribution modes based on complex topological structureAfter analyzing the complex topological characteristics of the road network in Jinan and Beijing,it is found that the road network systems in Jinan and Beijing,which have different road network distribution patterns,meet the small world characteristics,but do not have scale-free characteristics.Through the centrality analysis and gravity topology analysis,the relatively important roads in the two cities’ road network are obtained more accurately and precisely.(3)Invulnerability analysis of two different distribution modes of road networkThrough the invulnerability analysis,it is found that the damage caused by the selective attack road is far more than that caused by the random attack Road,and the comprehensive distribution of Jinan road network shows stronger invulnerability than the chessboard distribution of Beijing road network.(4)Proposal of a Hierarchical Model of Road NetworkOn the basis of road network invulnerability analysis,a hierarchical expression model of road network based on topological strength is proposed,and the model is verified.The results show that the important road sections extracted by the proposed hierarchical model are more precise and accurate.Using this model can accurately confirm the topological strength level of each road in the road network,which can effectively measure the ability of each road in the road network to maintain the connectivity of the road network,which is conducive to the protection of key roads in the future,and can effectively reduce our expenditure on road maintenance.
