Landscape Design Of Suburban Waterfront Space Based On The Self-Purification Function Of Water Body

With the acceleration of urbanization,both urban water bodies and suburban rivers have been affected by economic development.Suburban rivers are located on the outskirts of cities and have problems such as land acquisition,demolition,dumping of domestic waste,and factory pollutant discharge,which have caused serious river pollution,poor ecology and hydrophilicity,and low public participation.Many scholars and designers have done a lot of theoretical and practical research on the ecological landscape planning of the river course,but balancing the relationship between the ecological construction of the river course and the local development is still a very exploratory subject.Based on this background,based on the theoretical basis for the purification of water bodies in suburban rivers,the suburban section of the upper reaches of the Zhengshui River in Zhengxiang District of Hengyang City is selected as the research object.Through field investigation and sampling and analysis of river water bodies,total nitrogen(TN)and total phosphorus are selected.(TP)is used as an indicator to characterize the pollution of the water body,and the spatial distribution characteristics of the pollutant concentration in the research section are obtained.Then,through the analysis of relevant domestic and foreign literature and excellent design cases,it is found that the application of aquatic plants and the form of river revetment have a very significant influence and effect on the self-purification efficiency of river water.Combining excellent domestic and foreign cases and the results of sampling and analysis in the study area,a targeted ecological riverfront landscape design idea was proposed,and the design goals,design strategies and special design methods of the suburban waterfront space were explained,trying to pass the river revetment form and aquatic plants.The planting methods and other ecological landscape design methods have carried out ecological restoration and landscape optimization for the suburban section of the Zhengshui River,and presented the complete design plan and drawings as the content of the thesis’ s thinking and research.This article adheres to the concept of "Human and nature are the community of life",through the combination of science and art,in order to solve the dilemma of the waterfront space in the suburbs of Zhengshui River in Hengyang City,and create an integrated ecology,leisure and viewing environment for nearby residents.The riverfront space,at the same time,also provides examples and references for the construction of the waterfront landscape in the suburbs of other cities.
