Investigation And Application On Landscape Plants In Municipal Roads And Sponge Cities In The Eastern New District Of Taizhou

The sponge construction of municipal roads is an important type in the process of sponge city construction in China.It is an effective way to collect,utilize and purify the rain-water on the road by using urban roads,drainage system,green landscape facilities.With the purpose of simulating the minimum change of natural ecosystem to make the rainwater stay more effectively and self-purification to put the rainwater resources to good use.As one of the basic elements of sponge city construction,plants can absorb and purify rainwater,which is an indispensable part of water storage cycle.How to select plants and community model is very important for landscape plants of municipal roads in sponge city.In this dissertation,the concept of "sponge city" and its developmental status are described and analyzed.Combined with the low impact development(LID)technology,this concept was applied to the landscape plant greening of municipal roads.The principles of landscape plant design and planting and the influence of different functional roads on the selection of landscape plants were clarified,as well as design ideas of sponge City Municipal Road plant landscape.This dissertation analyzed the influential factors of the plant growth on the municipal road of sponge city in the eastern New District of Taizhou,probing into the planting methods of plants.Through field investigation,52 cases of sponge city greening projects were selected as research samples.Based on literature research and actual case investigation,some plant species were classified for the selection of municipal road greening projects in this area,especially in the eastern New District of Taizhou,with 16 kinds of arbor plants,such as Tamarix chinensis,Melia azedarach,Quercus virginiana.and so on,15 kinds of shrub plants,like Amorpha fruticose,Pyracantha fortuneana,Nerium oleander and 10 kinds of herb plants,like Buchloe dactyloides,Festuca arundinacea,Lolium perenne.In this dissertation,different plants are distributed according to different levels of Road.Urban expressway:Ulmus pumila + Koelreuteria paniculate + Prunus hongyeli + Hibiscus syriacus + Panax notoginsen;Urban main road: Cinnamomum camphora + Lagerstroemia indica,Photinia Serrulata;Secondary trunk roads: Ginkgo biloba + Photinia rubra + Ophiopogon japonicus;City Branch: Ligustrum lucidum +Loropetalum chinense + Canna indica.Taking Qinglongpu road,which is located in Taizhou Bay circular economy industrial cluster area,as an example,the rainwater garden,plant selection,curb treatment and other plant landscape design of municipal road in sponge city were carried out.Through this study,it is expected to provide materials and technical support for the following construction of municipal road sponge city in Taizhou Eastern New Area for the promotion of sponge city in Taizhou Eastern New Area.
