In recent years,the development of nanomaterials has attracted widespread attention from various industries,and more and more nanomaterials are used in the field of pavement materials to improve the performance of asphalt and mixtures.As a graphene derivative,graphene oxide has better performance and polymer fusion than graphene.It carries abundant oxygen-containing functional groups on the surface and has active chemical connections,and has good strength,stiffness,and hinders oxygen molecules from passing through.characteristic.However,the current understanding of the performance of graphene oxide modified asphalt and the mechanism of action after aging is insufficient,and the mechanism of the effect of graphene oxide on asphalt has not been thoroughly studied.This greatly limits the popularization and application of graphene oxide modified asphalt.Therefore,in-depth research on the rheological properties of graphene oxide modified asphalt and elucidating the mechanism of action between graphene oxide and asphalt are of great significance for improving the service life of asphalt pavements.In this paper,the method of blending graphene oxide with asphalt is used,and the single variable control method is used to control the content of graphene oxide and the test temperature.Three index tests and DSR tests are used to evaluate the macroscopic properties and high and low temperature rheological properties of asphalt.The results show that a certain amount of graphene oxide,the complex modulus and rutting factor of the modified asphalt gradually increase,while the phase angle is the change indicates that the viscosity of the graphene oxide modified asphalt has increased.When the temperature rises to 70°C,graphene oxide is added under a certain stress.Compared with the original asphalt without graphene oxide,the graphene oxide was added to a certain extent.It reduces the low-temperature crack resistance of asphalt,indicating that the addition of graphene oxide has an adverse effect on the low-temperature performance of asphalt.The results show that with the deepening of aging,the complex shear modulus and rutting factor of asphalt gradually increase,while the phase angle decreases,the elastic component of the asphalt increases while the viscous component decreases.The addition of graphene oxide effectively reduces the asphalt’s degree of aging.Finally,the mechanism of graphene oxide modified asphalt was analyzed by X-diffractometer and infrared spectroscopy,and it was verified that graphene oxide can significantly improve the anti-aging performance of asphalt.
