As one of the core components of wind turbine,the blade pitch control mechanism will directly determine the quality of wind turbine output power.In recent years,wind farms have repeatedly experienced instability in the output power of wind turbines due to failure of the pitch control system or excessive control errors,which can seriously force wind turbines off the grid.Therefore,the research on the pitch control system of wind turbines is of great significance.We main study the turbine output power fluctuations after the wind turbine pitch controller is optimized by the crowd search algorithm.A 5MW wind turbine model was established as a simulation model in GH Bladed software.Using the linearization module of GH Bladed,a linear model of the higher-order transfer function between the pitch angle of the wind turbine and the generator speed at each operating wind speed point is obtained,and the third-order transfer function model is obtained by identifying and downscaling it.The closed-loop control loop of the wind turbine pitch control system is composed of a PI controller and a third-order transfer function model,and the system error and input values of this control loop form an adaptation function.The Seeker Optimization Algorithm is used to solve the adaptation function.When the optimal solution is the PI parameter of the requested variable propeller,the optimal solution is found.Linear interpolation is used between the optimal pitch PI parameters corresponding to different wind speed points to obtain the optimal variable gain controller.The optimal variable gain controller is written into the external controller by Visual Studio software,and the 5MW unit model established by GH Bladed software is used for simulation analysis.The results show that the mean squared deviation of generator speed decreases by 30.70%,37.60%,and 33.37%,respectively,and the mean squared deviation of output power decreases by 11.11%,11.90%,and 5.49%,respectively,while with the turbulent wind conditions of the average wind velocity of 16m/s,18m/s,and 20m/s,after optimizing the wind turbine pitch control system using the Seeker Optimization Algorithm.It can be seen that the optimized wind turbine pitch controller can significantly improve the accuracy of the turbine control system,and also make the turbine output the rated power more smoothly and stably.
