| Air travel is fast and comfortable,and is currently one of the mainstream transportation methods.At the same time,there are many electrical circuits on airplanes.Once they burn or explode,they are likely to cause more serious aviation fire accidents.Therefore,aviation electrical fires have gradually become an important factor affecting aviation safety.As an important carrier for transmitting electrical signals and electric energy,wires and cables connect the power source and multiple equipment carriers,which have the potential to cause and spread fire.Due to the airtight space and limited volume,the aviation operation environment cannot rely on external firefighting force support in the event of a fire,and can only rely on its own firefighting and extinguishing system,and the fire-resistant and flame-retardant properties of the material itself.Therefore,it is very important to study the fire hazard of aviation wires and cables.Fluoropolymer is a typical jacket structure material for aviation wires and cables.This article selects four types of aviation fluoropolymer wires and cables as the research object,including three types of fluoropolymers:poly tetra fluoroethylene(PTFE),fluorinated ethylene propylene(FEP)and perfluoroalkoxy(PFA)The fire hazard of aviation wire and cable is analyzed from two levels of wire and cable material and finished wire and cable.Use a thermogravimetric analyzer to test three fluoropolymer materials,analyze the pyrolysis mechanism of PTFE,FEP,and PFA,as well as the thermal weight loss stage,and studied the pyrolysis performance of aviation wire and cable materials.Use the cone calorimeter to test four types of aviation wire and cable,analyze the combustion performance parameters such as the heat release rate,mass loss rate,and smoke generation rate of the aviation wire and cable,and study the influence of factors such as the aviation wire and cable materials,the external heat radiation intensity,wire and cable arrangement density and wire and cable composition structure on combustion characteristics.A single wire and cable vertical combustion tester was used for the experiment,and the fire spread characteristics of the aviation wire and cable were analyzed based on the three experimental results of the carbonization height of the wire and cable,the degree of conductor exposure and whether dripping and ignition occurs.Finally,based on the above experimental conclusions,the fire hazard evaluation analysis of aviation wires and cables is obtained,which provides data support for the development and use of aviation wires and cables. |
