The rapid development of cities in northern China has led to serious dust pollution.In order to suppress dust and reduce haze,many cities use tap water to sprinkle road for dust suppression,resulting in the waste of high-quality water resources.At the same time,with the acceleration of social development,the contradiction between supply and demand of water resources has become increasingly prominent,and the shortage of water resources has gradually become an important factor restricting urban social and economic development and ecological environment improvement.Under the requirements of systems and policies such as"water ecological civilization construction","sixteen-word water control policy" and"national water-saving action plan",more stringent requirements are put forward for the development and utilization of water resources.As the second source of water,reclaimed water is one of the effective ways to solve the problem of urban water shortage.Using reclaimed water instead of tap water for dust suppression can not only play the same role in dust suppression,but also improve the utilization rate of reclaimed water and save high-quality water,which has great potential for ecological and economic benefits.Based on the emergy theory and analysis method of ecological economics,comprehensively considering the relationship between natural and social systems,this paper explored the quantitative method of eco-economic benefits of reclaimed water for dust suppression.The main research work and achievements are as follows:(1)Guided by the theory of ecological economics,the ecological and economic system of reclaimed water for dust suppression was constructed.From the perspective of energy,the mutual transformation relationship between matter and energy in the system was analyzed,and the mechanism of eco-economic benefits of reclaimed water for dust suppression was revealed.Then,the connotation of eco-economic benefits of reclaimed water for dust suppression was analyzed,and the composition of eco-economic benefits of reclaimed water for dust suppression was clarified,which laid a theoretical foundation for the quantification of eco-economic benefits.(2)Based on the emergy theory and analysis method,according to the connotation and composition of eco-economic benefits of reclaimed water for dust suppression,the forms and characteristics of various benefits of ecological economy were analyzed,and the quantitative method of eco-economic benefits of reclaimed water for dust suppression including ecological and environmental benefits,social benefits and economic benefits was constructed to realize the comprehensive and scientific quantification of eco-economic benefits.(3)Taking Zhengzhou City and Taiyuan City as examples,the emergy quantitative method of eco-economic benefits of reclaimed water for dust suppression was used to quantify the eco-economic benefits of reclaimed water for dust suppression in Zhengzhou City and Taiyuan City in 2017.And the quantitative results were analyzed and discussed to verify the feasibility of the emergy quantitative method of eco-economic benefits of reclaimed water for dust suppression.
