Nowadays fossil fuels are nearly exhausted,many countries are actively transiting from traditional fossil energy to clean energy,which will bring major structural changes to the power system across the world.As a significant part of clean energy,solar electrical energy generation has broad research prospects.When sunlight irradiates on the surface of the solar cell array,it induces a DC voltage,the output voltage will change at any time under the influence of the intensity of light,and cannot be directly connected for use.Therefore,a DC/DC boost converter with a wide input voltage range is required.At the same time,a large input current ripple will have a significant impact on the realization of Maximum Power Point Tracking(MPPT)technology during solar power generation.Based on that,this paper proposes a topology of a DC/DC boost converter with zero input current ripple.The specific work is described as follows:In order to solve the problem of the large input current ripple of the DC/DC converter,auxiliary inductors and capacitors are added on the basis of the traditional Boost converter,and the topology structure of the improved DC/DC boost converter is obtained,which reduces the input current ripple of the improved converter.The principle of the wave is analyzed and calculated,and the converter is divided into continuous conduction mode(Continuous Current Mode,CCM)and discontinuous current mode(Discontinuous Current Mode)according to whether the current flowing through the inductor has dropped to zero when the converter is working in a steady state.Mode,DCM).The working principle of the converter in the two working modes is analyzed in detail,and the voltage gain of the corresponding working mode is calculated respectively.At the same time,the principle of reducing the input current ripple is analyzed and calculated.Finally,the feasibility of the proposed scheme is verified by simulation and hardware experiment.In order to further reduce the amplitude of the input current ripple,the multi-phase interleaved technology is added on the basis of the improved boost converter,and the topology of the new zero-ripple DC/DC boost converter is obtained.Through analysis,it is found that when the converter is working in CCM mode,the converter has three different working states when the duty cycle is less than 0.5,the duty cycle is greater than 0.5,and the duty cycle is equal to 0.5.The different working states are analyzed in detail.The working principle of the converter in the state,and the DCM working mode of the converter is analyzed and calculated at the same time.The reason why the converter has lower input current ripple compared to the same type of zero-ripple converter is discussed in detail.The simulation experiment compares the magnitude of the input current ripple of the same type of converter,which proves that the proposed converter The input current ripple is much smaller than that of the same type of converter.Finally,the experimental prototypes of the improved converter and the new zero-ripple converter are designed to verify the above conclusions.
