For a type of treatment instrument that has adjustable and controllable treatment intensity and determines the treatment plan based on the patient’s tolerance,the pain assessment during the treatment is an important process to realize the intelligent control of the instrument,and the pain expression is the main reference factor in the pain assessment.With the development of electrical pulse therapy,electrical acupuncture therapy,and electrical hyperthermia,etc.,the technology of pain degree detection and intelligent control of the treatment intensity based on pain detection is increasingly embedded in the treatment system.The important development direction and popular research content of the intelligent innovation of the treatment system.Based on the research process of the laboratory’s research project "Opening Meridian Scalp Acupuncture Treatment Apparatus",the paper developed a pain expression recognition system,which realized the intelligent recognition of the treatment depth of the treatment apparatus and real-time feedback control during the treatment process,and improved the treatment.The intelligent and humanized indicators of the instrument improve the system functions and user experience.Pain in the face detection problem recognition,the proposed algorithm based on Haar features ADABOOST algorithm may be no missing the face,without substantial angular offset,and detection of a variety of expression of a certain person rotating the sample face;pain expression recognition problem,by studying the local binary pattern and a support vector machine,feature extraction methods using LBP d IVIDED fusion and multiscale partition to the expression for the image feature extraction,feature selection algorithm Lion reducing the dimension of the feature,the subsequent input classifier training and prediction;grid search method and the penalty factor and find the best parameters of SVM kernel function;for software implementation issues,the use of binding Open CV and MFC design system,correlation algorithm implemented;functionality of each module on the basis of studies on the hardware and software systems,based on completion of the treatment to control the intensity of pain therapy device expression recognition experiments.After the experiment samples in which expression of pain is pain in the face image database shows that self extracted with traditional features and feature extraction methods compared before fusion,pain greatly improve the recognition rate of expression;the designed system operation and experiments show that: pain expression recognition reached a basic expression of recognition,identification can be intelligent feedback smart headache therapy device and then change the intensity of treatment,and with good accuracy and timeliness.
