External energy gatling weapons are widely equipped on various mobile platforms with the advantages of high radio frequency,high initial velocity and strong firepower.Motors are used as the power source of external gatling weapons,and their performance directly affects the combat effectiveness of revolving machine guns.Conventional motors are mainly designed based on the working characteristics of a long-term constant load,while the revolving machine gun works intermittently for a short time.If the conventional motor is used to drive the revolving machine gun,it will cause the problems of low energy utilization and bulky electromechanical system.Therefore,in order to improve the combat effectiveness of the revolving machine gun,the drive motor should be specially designed according to its load characteristics to improve the power density and starting performance of the motor,and reduce the quality of the weapon system.This paper analyzes and grasps the load power requirements of a revolving machine gun under different radio frequencies through a combination of theoretical research and dynamic testing,and gives the working range of the revolving machine gun drive motor.Based on the test results,a certain revolving machine gun is proposed.Design index of high power density drive motor.According to the development status of high power density permanent magnet synchronous motors at home and abroad,combined with the method of increasing the power density of permanent magnet synchronous motors,the main dimensions of the motor and the permanent magnet structure parameters are calculated by the magnetic circuit method,and the finite element analysis model is built,and the initial simulation calculation The power density of the motor model.This paper takes the torque characteristics of the motor as the optimization goal,and analyzes the parameters of the motor with the help of Maxwell software,and studies the influence of the stator slot and permanent magnet structure parameters on the output torque,cogging torque and torque fluctuation rate of the motor.The optimization design was carried out,and the 12-slot 8-pole motor model was finally determined as the best solution for a rotating tube machine gun drive motor.The electromagnetic performance of the motor model under no load and load was analyzed,and all parameters met the design requirements of the motor.In order to study the starting performance and response speed of the 12-slot 8-pole motor model,a joint simulation platform of Maxwell,Simplorer and Simulink was built in the Simplorer environment to simulate the real electric drive system,realize the organic combination of control strategy and motor design,and verify a certain type The rationality of the design of the high-power density permanent magnet synchronous motor dedicated to the gatling gun.
