Freight railway is one of the main ways of freight transportation in our country.The improvement of freight railway system plays an important role in promoting economic development.However,the annual energy consumption of railways is huge.Due to the differences in driver control,it is difficult to have a unified standard to achieve energy-saving and punctual operation.Aiming at the problems of energy-saving and operation of freight trains,this paper establishes an energy-saving operation model of freight trains based on improved genetic algorithm,aiming to study the energy-saving operation technology of freight trains from both theoretical and experimental aspects,so that the method is more suitable for energy-saving driving.First,it analyzes the generation principle and calculation method of train traction,running resistance,and braking force.In order to simplify the research,the force analysis of freight trains is carried out with a single-mass point model,and a train kinematics model and a train energy consumption evaluation model are established.Aiming at the line ramp and speed limit issues that affect the energy-saving operation of trains,a freight train energy-saving operation model based on an improved genetic algorithm is proposed.The complex types of ramps are merged and classified based on the planned operating speed,and the classified ramps Divided into sections,a state transition point is set on the section,and different operation strategies are selected before and after the position of the state transition point to achieve the on-time energy-saving goal of the train.In terms of speed limit,an auxiliary model of control strategy based on speed limit is established to avoid exceeding the speed limit value during train operation and ensure operational safety.Secondly,the improved fitness function genetic algorithm is used to solve the energy saving operation model of freight train.The fitness function is constructed with two factors of time and energy,and the weight of time and energy can be adjusted to meet the optimization of energy saving operation strategy for freight trains in more application scenarios.Through collecting 2800 tons of cargo HXD3 trains,in shore line sections of the speed of 33.7 km line on actual operation data and energy consumption,and under the condition of same section of practical operation,the results show that under the condition of meet the provisions of running time,the method of theoretical calculation of energy consumption compared with the energy consumption of the actual operation,save 15.2%,verify the feasibility of this method.Finally,the software of the freight train speed optimization system is developed.The freight train speed optimization software provides users with parameter configuration,speed planning and query analysis functions.Under the cooperation of these functions,the transmission of relevant data between the various modules completes the optimization of the speed of the freight train.
