| With the development of virtual reality(VR)technology,the application of VR in traditional education has become common.As a new tool of educational science and technology,VR technology has been gradually applied in practical teaching by many educational institutions.The immersive experience provided by VR provides a larger understanding space for students to feel knowledge."VR+ education" meets the requirements of high difficulty,high cost and high quality teaching practice.The application of virtual reality to education is just like blackboard and multimedia in teaching,which is a teaching method based on tradition and transcending tradition.At present,the immersive teaching system based on VR is gradually becoming a new teaching mode of normal application.Based on three-dimensional technology,the teaching system combines modeling software to carry out modeling design,dynamic simulation and interactive control on the physical environment and objects,so as to complete visual teaching.Based on constructivism theory and virtual reality technology,combined with HTC VIVE equipment,the mainstream virtual reality development platform Unity 3D and modeling software Solid Works and 3ds Max,this project explored and developed an immersive mechanical engineering training workshop teaching system against the background of a mechanical engineering training workshop of a university.The system maps the workshop layout and practical training process in the real world to an immersive environment,and the trainees can easily,conveniently and intuitively grasp the workshop layout and the whole process of practical training.The system not only realizes innovative teaching,but also provides feasibility verification analysis,which can detect and correct product problems in a timely manner,greatly reducing real-world production and research and development costs.The specific research work is as follows:(1)This paper briefly introduces the background and research significance of the project,analyzes the development status of virtual machine shop system at home and abroad,and establishes the purpose and research content of the project.(2)Through the investigation of a mechanical engineering training workshop in a university,Solid Works and 3ds Max modeling software were used to model the machine tool and physical environment and other elements.Selecting Unity 3D virtual reality development platform to carry out the overall development and design of the system.Introducing the hardware devices involved.(3)Providing solutions to technical problems involved in the development process of the system,such as visualization research of workshop layout optimization algorithm,collision detection technology,roaming technology,model optimization,scene rendering,particle effects,and key frame animation processing and other problems.(4)According to the layout of the workshop in the immersive environment and the characteristics of the virtual simulation training of machining,combined with the functional requirements of the system,the immersive real interaction technology based on HTC VIVE was applied to conduct dialogue with the system.Mainly including: 3D UI interface interaction;Using Unity 3D virtual reality development platform to solve the complex animation control process of workshop layout;In the system,the virtual model is interacted with the handle instead of the real hand to complete the practical training.(5)Assembling models,animations,maps,and key technical solutions,etc.And systemizing them into a set of immersive mechanical engineering training workshop teaching system with comprehensive and complete functions. |
