In recent years,with the continuous development of building performance simulation,parametric design and intelligent optimization algorithm,the architectural design method is constantly changing,and a new form appears,that is introduced into the building performance analysis module in the building design stage.This method is based on the physical performance of the building,and through the efficient optimization algorithm to find the plan in reverse,it saves a lot of manpower and time consumed in repeated trial and error.With the current rapid and healthy development of the national economy and the changes in the social demographic structure of our country,the phenomenon of the aging of the social population in our country has become more and more serious,and the demand for pension buildings has also continued to rise.As an important part of the pension building,the research on the indoor physical environment of the elderly’s living room cannot be ignored.Taking the indoor natural lighting performance and window solar radiation of the elderly’s living room as the starting point,this study studies the window multi-objective optimization of different types of standard units of old-age buildings in Jinan area.A joint design process of parametric modeling,performance simulation and multi-objective optimization is constructed.First of all,through the investigation,it is determined that the main bedroom types,window forms,commonly used shading methods and the needs of the elderly for the internal physical properties of the living room in Jinan institutional pension buildings.Through the arrangement of the above contents,it is determined that this optimization study is divided into two parts,one is for single-person rooms suitable for self-care for the elderly,and the other is for multi-person rooms suitable for caring for the elderly.Then,the design of the research scheme is carried out,and the window width,window height and sunshade width are selected as the optimal design variables,and the Spatial Daylight Autonomy,the Annual Light Exposure and the difference of solar radiation between summer and winter are selected as the performance optimization objectives.Then use the parametric modeling software Grasshopper,building performance simulation software DIVA and Ladybug,multi-objective optimization plug-in Octopus and other platforms to build a joint simulation optimization model and complete the multi-objective optimization operation.After the completion of the optimization,the convergence of the optimization results is judged,and by observing the two-dimensional distribution map of the Pareto optimal solution in different perspectives,the relationship among the three optimization objectives is analyzed.Finally,after the optimization results are fed back to Grasshopper and the data are sorted out,the Pareto frontier solution set is screened in different ways.The initial screening index is the minimum window area,and the secondary screening index is the DGP value of the Winter Solstice’s daily fixed point of view.After two screenings,a set of schemes suitable for window and sun visor design of different types of rooms are obtained.
