At present,there are still some deficiencies in the design of metal dampers in the damping structure.First of all,for the design of energy dissipation and damping structure,dampers are usually set according to engineering experience,and repeated trials are carried out through time-history analysis until the seismic performance requirements of the structure are met,which consumes a lot of time and energy for structural designers.Secondly,the practical application of metal dampers is complex,and the input of ground motion is inevitable.It is difficult to estimate the additional effective damping ratio of metal dampers in actual earthquakes.Therefore,on the one hand,it is of great significance to study the new design method of damping structure for the promotion of energy dissipation and damping technology.On the other hand,it is essential to take measures to ensure that the damping effect of the energy dissipation device is fully played under the actual ground motion for structural safety.The most widely used metal dampers are buckling-restrained braces and shear panel dampers.In this paper,a teaching building in Liaocheng is taken as an example for structural seismic analysis,and the design method of energy dissipation and damping of buckling restrained brace and the influencing factors of metal shear damper performance are studied.It provides a reference for damping design of metal dampers in the future.The main contents are as follows:(1)This paper discusses the development of energy dissipation technology in recent years,the classification of energy dissipators,the basic principle of energy dissipation technology,the restoring force model of energy dissipators,and the analysis method of energy dissipation structure system.(2)The design method of seismic reduction scheme based on the periodic reduction rate is proposed,and the design scheme of energy dissipation and damping is determined.The elastic analysis of small earthquakes and the elastic-plastic analysis of large earthquakes are carried out.The analysis results show that the seismic performance of the structure meets the requirements of the specification and has a certain safety reserve.The design method has a certain reference value.(3)This paper studies the influence of the connection and position of the metal shear damper on the damping effect of the damper.The research results show that the connection mode of the metal shear damper,the stiffness of the connection member,and the layout position all have influence on the damping effect of the damper.Measures to improve the damping effect of the damper are proposed.(4)The article makes a prospect according to the research results.It is hoped that this thesis can play a certain reference role in the energy dissipation design of frame structure.
