| Variable speed pumped storage can be an effective means to control power grid load frequency and balance the fluctuation of renewable energy generation output.In order to give full play to the peak-regulation and frequency-regulation capability of the pumped storage unit,ac excitation motor is adopted instead of synchronous motor to improve the efficiency of the unit and enhance the stability of the system.At present,most domestic and foreign research units still evaluate conventional pumped-storage power stations from the perspective of economic benefits,and there are few quantitative studies on technical evaluation of pumped-storage,especially the power regulation capacity of variable speed units.Based on this,this paper explores and analyzes the factors influencing the power regulation capacity of variable speed pumped storage units,puts forward a specific quantitative evaluation method,calculates the weight of quantitative evaluation index and the score of power regulation capacity.The main research contents are as follows:(1)Study and analyze the operating principle of variable speed pumping units under different operating modes,extract static index parameters that affect the unit’s power regulation ability,and analyze and verify them through specific examples.Based on the analysis of variable speed pumped storage units,on the basis of relevant theories,the mathematical model of ac excitation motor and control strategy are analyzed,and the variable speed pumped storage units in different working mode of power regulation ability influence factors,and according to a certain speed calculation and analysis verify the specific case of pumped-storage plant,for which affect the ability of the variable speed unit power regulation related static parameters extraction.(2)Through the simulation analysis of the adjustment changes of related parameters of the variable speed pumped-storage unit under different working conditions,the dynamic indicators affecting the unit’s power regulation capacity were extracted.Based on MATLAB/Simulink platform,the variable speed pumped storage power unit under different operating conditions and responsiveness to the simulation analysis,by setting different parameters for comparative study of different orders of magnitude,affecting the power transmission unit adjust the related parameters for extraction of dynamic capabilities,for variable speed pumped storage power unit specific quantitative-assessment of the ability to provide theoretical and practical support.(3)Through comparative studies,a quantitative evaluation method was proposed for this study,and a quantitative evaluation system was established to evaluate the power regulation capacity of variable speed pumping units.By analyzing and comparing the advantages and disadvantages of various mainstream quantitative evaluation methods,the quantitative evaluation method that best fits the research content of this paper is proposed.The quantitative evaluation system was established,the quantitative evaluation was conducted based on the improved analytic hierarchy process(ahp)and fuzzy theory,and the weights of static and dynamic factors influencing the power regulation capacity of the variable speed pumped-storage unit were calculated.This article for variable speed pumped storage units power regulation ability research has certain groundbreaking,make speed pumped storage units in power regulation ability with specific quantitative evaluation method,when participate in power grid load frequency control has a certain reference value,to speed the construction of pumped storage units and the actual operation to provide new train of thought,in order to further play a role of variable speed pumped storage units in the power grid scheduling and improve power system stability has laid a theoretical foundation and technical support. |
