| The tremendous activity in the use of fossil energy in the field of industries worldwide led to an increase in greenhouse gas emissions, which inevitably affect the biosphere of the Earth due to pollution in the atmosphere.Renewable energy is one of the most important solutions to reduce these problems while providing permanent energy that depends on the components of nature. The photovoltaic system has the advantage of other clean energy devices with ease of installation, carrying and high efficiency, with the ability to adapt to the controllers for the dynamic behavior of the system. The unknown changes inherent in the PV system affect overall system performance and efficiency,so smart controls are designed to deal with these changes in addition to uncertainty effects that may occur internally or toward the the main network. The PV system is very flexible in terms of controllers design,as a number of controllers can be added that can deal with parts of the system such as DC and AC converters to meet the dynamic performances of the system. In general, the dynamic behavior of the power system is exposed to many transit undesirable effects, which conventional control systems units cannot successfully regulate it,so intelligent control system with precision and robustness must be designed to deal with these effects. This research topic presents the model predictive control(MPC)to handle the pulse width modulation(PWM)gates based on the current model of the photovoltaic-grid system unit to satisfy the maximum power point tracking(MPPT).Where the MPC controller is one of the controllers that can regulate uncertainty effects during different operating conditions. The DC-DC boost converter based on the Fuzzy logic controller(FLC)which is included mamdani architecture is used to boost up and handle the photovoltaic voltage to satisfy the total efficiency by applying the MPC-current control on the AC inverter. The MPC approach is used to control the system in order to meet suitable performance and minimize the disturbances, which posed to the system. The "MATLAB TOOL" is used to achieve all simulation results, which show that,MPC is more efficient and gives better output performance and less total harmonic distortion comparing with PI and FLC control. |
