Research On Contemporary Chinese Urban Household Space Design From The Perspective Of Ethics

Household space is closely linked with people’s life and it is an indispensable part of people’s life,affecting all aspects of the people.However,with the rapid development of social economy and the invasion of western culture,the development of urban residential buildings has been destroyed in China and there have brought the pattern of household space that features with western ethics.With the change of space,the ethical culture also is changed in the space.In particular,the contemporary household space is emphasizing more on personal freedom and independence,while ignored the Chinese traditional culture that pay attention to the needs of family harmony,which has destroyed the warmth of people’s homes.Therefore,this topic hopes to examine the problems in contemporary urban household space from the perspective of contemporary family ethical culture.There will explore the design methods of contemporary home space in the way of the intersection of interior design and ethics.The purpose is to improve the current family relationship through the interior space design.Not only maintain the individual independent sense of space,but also enhance the warmth of the family,and ultimately promote the harmony of the family relationship,so as to achieve the sense of home.Firstly,this paper analyzes the relationship between family ethics and residential space and explains the necessity of home space design from the perspective of ethics.Secondly,it expounds the expression of Chinese traditional family ethics culture in Chinese traditional residential architectural space to explain the compatibility between traditional ethics culture and traditional home space and clears the inheritance meaning in the contemporary home space.Thirdly,there expounds the origin and evolution process of the spatial form and analyzes its ethical characteristics in the contemporary urban household space of China.And also there explains the ethical issues in the contemporary spatial forms through field investigation to point out the inadequacies to be studied Then this paper summarizes the confusion and the future development direction and the principle of Chinese contemporary family ethics.After,there analyzes the cultural ethical conflicts.Finally,when the problems are identified and put forward,then the strategy is put forward for the problem--how to promote the integration and development of the between Chinese traditional good ethical space culture and western modern ethical space culture through the method of interior space design,to make the balance between family warmth and individual freedom in the space,so as to achieve the harmony of the family.Here are two possible solutions to the problem: Firstly,on the one hand,it will inherit good ethical of the Chinese traditional household space.On the other hand,it will absorb the advanced western space ethics.The second is to learn from the successful experience of other countries.At the same time,the ethical goals,ethical principles and ethical methods of contemporary urban home space design are put forward according to the goal of Chinese contemporary family ethics.Namely,"the design principle of equality and sharing,the design principle of personalized independence and freedom,and the design principle of harmony" and "diversified communication space,equality and sharing space,independence and privacy space".The China’s contemporary urban household spatial form is influenced and restricted by western culture and it presents the characteristics of western ethical culture.The western-style household space pattern emphasizes individual value,it is to guide people to personalized freedom and independent family living style.But the Chinese have been influenced by their native culture for thousands of years and cannot adapt to western-style household space completely.In the context of global cultural integration,the western culture has become the mainstream trend of China’s development,while the spatial ethics culture of traditional Chinese has been lost.Chinese tradition emphasizes the family group values and the enhancement of the family affection concept.To "home and everything",“harmony is invaluable”,"benevolence and courtesy" as the living belief.Therefore,there are differences and contradictions between Chinese and western cultures.In the context of multi-culture,China must follow the way of own characteristic’s living culture,and keep getting the best of it,then keep pace with The Times to inherit and develop.We should neither reject nor fully accept the foreign western culture,but rationally draw on its elements which are beneficial to the development of Chinese family living space.The purpose is to make up for the deficiency of the spatial ethical culture and Chinese traditional good culture in living space.Therefore,on this basis,on the one hand,it points out the development idea of the integration and unification about Chinese and western cultures.It not only realizes the family harmonious consciousness of Chinese traditional fine culture and enhances emotional communication among family members in space.It also follows the development demand of the times to realize the individual independence and freedom in space.On the other hand,the ethical principles of equality and sharing,individual independence and freedom and harmony are put forward in contemporary home space design.
