| Dividend policy is an important financial policy of an enterprise.The core of it is to handle the relationship between dividend payment and the future development of the enterprise,which is closely linked to the survival prospects of the enterprise and the interests of shareholders.A better dividend distribution policy can not only solve the problem of the distribution of surplus funds for the company’s long-term development,but also establish a good image for the company in the minds of investors,win potential investment opportunities,and maximize the value of the company.However,the lack of effective checks and balances between listed companies,investors,and stock market regulators makes listed companies face a series of problems such as mismatched dividend policies,unstable distribution processes,low dividend payment rates,and irrational payment methods.In the face of a diverse,dynamic,and complex management environment,the success of an enterprise depends on its understanding and ability to use the complex and changing environment,including the consistency of its life cycle and its financial strategy.Therefore,the establishment of a dividend policy that meets the requirements of the enterprise’s life cycle is an urgent problem for listed companies today.This article takes Haier Zhijia Co.,Ltd.as the research object,based on the theories of enterprise life cycle and dividend policy.Based on the background of domestic and foreign research,it starts from the industry situation and the development of Haier Zhijia.Four aspects of the dividend policy and mismatch characterization during the high-speed growth period and steady maturity period.Finally,it is concluded that the dividend payment method in the growth period is unreasonable and single.The payment rate needs to be improved,the dividend policy is unstable throughout the life cycle and the payment volatility is large.It is intended to reveal the impact of the corporate life cycle on the choice of dividend policy.For the shortcomings of Haier’s Zhijia dividend policy,it provides targeted and constructive countermeasures from five aspects.This will help listed companies in the home appliance industry to formulate a scientific and reasonable dividend policy in the future to promote sustainable development of the company. |
