Funeral land is one of the special land for urban use,which has caused a research boom both in foreign countries and in China.In China,cemetery is neglected due to traditional ideas,people often avoid it.However,the construction of cemetery has positive ecological benefits.Taking the existing large cemetery in Kunming as the object,combined with the high-resolution Google Earth remote sensing image data before and after the cemetery was built to analyze the land cover change after the cemetery was built;Then based on factors such as geographic location,area size,built year,etc.,6 cemeteries were selected as samples.Landsat8 OLI/TIRS image was used to retrieve the surface temperature to analyze the impact of urban cemetery construction on the thermal environment and the plant species diversity analysis of the cemetery.The main benefits of the ecological benefit analysis of the construction are as follows:Before and after the construction of the cemetery,the main land-use types were converted into forest land,cultivated land,and funeral land.Compared with different construction years,the cemetery with new ecological funeral construction after 2010 has more abundant land use types,and there are more shrubs and woodlands in the cemetery.In general,due to the different site selection of different cemeteries,the conversion of land use types is quite different.When selecting the site and planning and construction of the cemetery,it is better to choose the original bare land and other difficult-to-use areas.It should be reasonable when planning and construction.Plan the type of land use,increase the greening rate,combine with the traditional landscape landscaping techniques of our country,artificially landscaping,and reduce the damage to the ecological environment.Overall,the cemetery construction has ecological value,can improve the regional thermal environment,and can enrich the regional plant diversity.The better the cemetery’s greening,the higher the vegetation coverage,the more obvious the effect on the thermal environment improvement,combined with land use From the perspective of pattern analysis,especially when the cemetery is located in the barren hills and bare land on the outskirts of the city,the improvement of the thermal environment is more obvious after the construction of the cemetery.During the construction,combining the landscape landscaping techniques of our country to turn the barren mountains into treasures,when planning and constructing the cemetery,the vegetation coverage should be increased and the plant species richness should be increased.In the near future,with the opening of ideas,changes in planning and construction and upgrading of the city cemetery will become a very popular place for our daily leisure and travel on the weekend.
