Oral health is closely related to people’s lives,and it is getting more and more attention.Malocclusion is an essential factor affecting people’s oral health.Malocclusion not only affects facial beauty,but may further cause oral diseases,and severe cases may cause psychological disorders.In view of Malocclusion,the traditional orthodontic treatment course usually takes a long period,which may cause inconvenience to people’s lives.Therefore,how to accelerate orthodontic tooth movement and shorten orthodontic treatment has become an urgent problem in the field of orthodontics.This project investigated the methods of accelerating orthodontic tooth movement,summarized the research status of using physical means to accelerate orthodontic tooth movement and analyzed the existing domestic and foreign products.According to the current research foundation,the shortages of domestic and foreign products,and the demand of internal orthodontic doctors and patients,based on the method of vibration to accelerate the orthodontic tooth movement,the subject of developing an orthodontic acceleration auxiliary device was proposed.The development of the orthodontic acceleration auxiliary device is mainly divided into two parts,the vibration mechanism of orthodontic acceleration and the supporting data monitoring APP.The design of the vibration mechanism is divided into two parts: hardware circuit design and mechanical structure design.First,the hardware design scheme was formulated according to the design requirements,and then the components selection,hardware circuit design,and hardware application program design were performed.The hardware circuit structure is mainly composed of a vibration motor,a control circuit,and a polymer lithium battery.The control circuit includes a power circuit,a control system and a Bluetooth communication circuit,vibration control and feedback circuit,and a recording data storage circuit.Based on the Bluetooth chip CC2541,the design of the hardware application program uses the Bluetooth 4.0 protocol stack provided by the TI company.Secondly,the mechanical structure design of the eccentric block of the vibration motor,the mouthpiece for oral occlusion,and the shell of the vibration mechanism were completed,and food-grade silicone and ABS materials were selected for prototype production.The design of the data monitoring app is based on the Android platform,which mainly implements functions such as registration and login,Bluetooth data transmission,vibration mode and time setting,countdown,and usage log data storage.In addition,this subject also tested and verified the functional indicators and stability of the hardware circuit,the data monitoring APP,and the housing structure of the vibration mechanism.Aiming at the characteristics of the orthodontic acceleration auxiliary device developed for this subject,a comparative analysis with similar products was performed to illustrate the advantages of this subject research.
