With the improvement of living standards,people ’s expectation and requirement on the vehicle dynamics performance were higher.at the same time,as those months before February 2020,the Chinese passenger car sales ha d declined for 18 months in a row,passenger car market has entered into a more competitive game,these factor put forward new requirements to the car companies R&D ability.Relative to traditional vehicle R&D technology,computer aided engineering has obvious advantag es in the development cost and development cycle,is the inevitable trend in the current market environment.Handling and Steering is the main part of vehicle dynamic performance,and the suspension K&C characteristics is the main influence factors of the vehicle handling stability,therefore,how to improve the vehicle steering stability through the computer simulation has become a pressing topic.Based on the dynamic performance development project of a certain vehicle model,this paper studied the dynami c performance simulation process.The specific research contents are as follows:Firstly,based on the market positioning of the design vehicle,the benchmark vehicle was selected and tested for its dynamic performance,including suspension K&C bench test,objective test of handling stability and subjective evaluation.In combination with the test results,the dynamic performance targets of the design vehicle were set up.Then,benchmark car suspension model and vehicle model were built in the multibody dynamics analysis software ADAMS based on related parameters,respectively processed the K&C simulation test and handling stability simulation test,based on the actual test results of benchmark car,calibrated the simulation model respectively from K&C characteristic and the handling stability index,and got a simulation model of benchmark vehicle that can be used in the horizontal comparison,and laid a good foundation for building the design vehicle model.Finally,based on the design parameters,design ve hicle suspension model and vehicle model were established,processed simulation test under the same condition of benchmark vehicle simulation test,found out the risk index of design vehicle by comparing with the test result of benchmark car and design tar gets.Through the reasonable formulation of the targeted optimization scheme,the optimized design car performance reached the target,and the design car’s dynamic performance was improved. |
