As the exploration of space resources accelerates,more and more satellites and small satellites are sent into space.How to improve the traditional fuel energy power mode,increase the orbit working time of the aircraft and the actual utilization efficiency become particularly important.At this time,the space solar sail entered people’s vision,gradually replacing some of the traditional mechanical structures.This article focuses on the simulation and dynamic analysis of the structural design and deployment process of the square solar sail.The main research contents are as follows:(1)This paper studies some of the theoretical knowledge of finite elements involved in the simulation deployment dynamics,such as,contact problems,time step control,vibration damping,etc.For the folding of the film in the square solar sail structure,this paper introduces several types of folding commonly used in finite element software,and a simple application introduction.(2)This article focuses on the research of film folding and unfolding,mainly including: the theoretical introduction of traditional folding methods,and the partial design and folding unfolding analysis of Z-shaped folding method.In the Z-shaped folding method,this article introduces the cre ase design,meshing method,and folding method skills of two film folding metho ds(M-type and U-type),and separately studies the film mesh density,constraint method,the effect of folding method on the film unfolding process.Based on the actual movement state of the film in the solar sail structure,this paper also explores the re lationship between the film deployment force and speed,and combines the actual motion state of the film to conduct a simple inquiry into the deployment of different types of fi lm.(3)In this paper,the optimization and analysis of the pod structure is carried out,which mainly includes the optimization of the modeling process and the optimization of the deployment process.For modeling optimization,this article combines programming software to establish an automatic beam-building program to improve the speed and accuracy of modeling,and combines with some experimental data to optimize the design of the mechanical parameters of Velcro to make the simulation process closer to the actual experiment.For deployment optimization,this paper studies the deployment process of pod beams with different beam element modeling methods and different lengths,proves the accuracy of the optimization parameters and proposes a conjecture for model expansion.Based on the actual movement state of the pod in the solar sail s tructure,this paper also studies some mechanical characteristics during the deployment process(the effect of the failure form of the beam on the deployment process,the position and angle o f the connection point on the pod can provide the maximum pulling force).(4)This paper studies the modeling and deployment dynamics of two solar sail structures,and discusses and analyzes some of their dynamic parameters.The advantages and disadvantages of each structure deployment and their applicability are obtained,and the improvement methods and ideas are proposed.
