Cycloidal gear is a key part of cycloidal precision reducer and cycloidal pump.The characteristics of cycloid tooth profile have an important impact on its transmission capability.It is very important to carry out research on cycloidal gear basic meshing theory and structural innovation to improve the performance of products,and it has been a research hotspot in this field.In this paper,a sliding function is introduced to characterize the sliding of cycloid gear and pin tooth in the actual action of cycloid meshing pair,and a new cycloid tooth profile model based on rolling-sliding contact is proposed.The tooth profile equation of cycloid gear based on the rolling-sliding contact are derived,and the tooth profile characteristics and meshing characteristics are studied in detail.The feasibility and correctness of the modeling method are proved by theoretical analysis and experimental research.The main contents of this paper are as follows:(1)A new method of constructing cycloid tooth profile model based on rolling and sliding contact is proposed.A sliding function is introduced to characterize the sliding between the pin tooth and the cycloidal tooth profile.Based on differential geometry and gear meshing theory,the tooth profile equation and the meshing function of cycloidal gear based on rolling-sliding contact is derived.The meshing line,coincidence degree and undercutting of the new cycloid gear pair are deduced.The pressure angle,induced curvature and sliding ratios of the new cycloid pin gear are analyzed and compared with that of the traditional cycloid planetary transmission.(2)Based on gear tooth surface contact analysis theory,the TCA model of the rolling and sliding cycloid gear meshing pair is established.The output angle and backlash of the new cycloid gear are determined.The transmission error of new cycloidal pinwheel meshing pair is calculated,and the influence of sliding parameter,pin radius,pin position radius and the eccentricity on transmission error are analyzed.(3)Based on the Hertz contact theory,the static equilibrium equation is given and the deformation compatibility relation is introduced to establish the loaded tooth contact analysis(LTCA)model of the rolling-sliding cycloid pin gear meshing pair.The bearing characteristics of the rolling-sliding cycloid pin gear meshing pair are analyzed.The contact force and contact stress of the rolling-sliding cycloid pin gear meshing pair and the traditional cycloid pin gear with modification are compared.The influence of sliding parameters on contact force and Hertz contact stress between meshing pairs is analyzed.(4)RV precision reducer with rolling-sliding cycloid pin gear as the main meshing pair was designed and produced,and its transmission error,transmission efficiency and accelerated fatigue life were carried out.Test results show that the reducer has outstanding advantages such as higher transmission accuracy,transmission efficiency,and good accuracy retention,which verified the correctness and feasibility of the new cycloid tooth profile model based on rolling and sliding contact. |
