| With the continuous development of vibration dampening and isolation technology,people are demanding more and more performance from dampers.This paper proposes a new type of corrugated steel web dampers based on traditional shear plate dampers.The advantages of corrugated steel web dampers over traditional shear plate dampers are: corrugated steel web dampers can reduce the external bending of the dampers,which is used to reduce the welding of large dampers and reduce the influence of rib welding on the dampers;corrugated steel web dampers provide greater shear stiffness and better energy consumption performance due to the accordion effect;corrugated steel web dampers can be made from corrugated steel web profiles with lower processing and maintenance costs.The main research contents and results of this paper are as follows.(1)T The new structure of corrugated steel web dampers is designed,the formula for calculating the recovery model parameters is deduced,and the hysteresis return analysis of corrugated steel web dampers is performed by ABAQUS,and the influence of waveform,wave angle,wave width and wave thickness on the performance of the dampers is studied.The analysis results show that the performance of corrugated steel web dampers is the best when the wavelength ratio(wavelength to web width ratio)is less than 0.22,while the performance of the web dampers is better than the wavelength ratio of 60° when the wavelength angle is 30° and the worst when the wavelength angle is 45°.The performance of the web dampers with the wavelength ratio(web slant positron panel length ratio)of 0.7 to 1is better than the dampers with the wavelength ratio of 1.4,and the performance of the web dampers with the wavelength ratio(web width to thickness ratio)is greater than 45.(2)We designed and manufactured two kinds of dampers for vertical and horizontal loading of corrugated steel web,and studied the performance of two kinds of dampers for vertical loading and horizontal loading,and the results showed that the hysteresis curves of the two kinds of dampers are full and have extraordinary energy consumption ability,and the damping force and hysteresis curve area of vertical loading dampers are slightly larger than horizontal loading dampers.The experimental results are higher than those of ABAQUS,and the hysteresis curve shape of the transverse discharging damper of corrugated steel web is different from the finite element simulation.(3)The ETABS software analyzes the seismic response time scale of the 16-layer shear wall structure equipped with the new corrugated steel web dampers,under the effect of multiple earthquakes,the displacement angle between the layers of the damping structure is roughly equal to the original structure,and the addition of the new corrugated steel web dampers will not reduce the rigidity of the structure.In rare seismic events,corrugated steel web dampers reduce the seismic response of the structure,reducing the interlayer displacement angle of the top layer by an average of 27% and the basal shear force by 21.5%.The dampers do not yield in frequent earthquakes and only serve to connect the beams;in rare earthquakes,the dampers have a full hysteresis curve and play an excellent damping function. |
