| Medical center or clustered medical services may not be the best solution to the problem of “unsightly and expensive medical treatment” in China, but at the same time that the elderly population is increasing and grass-roots family doctors are unable to achieve the popularity of the European medical system, the increasing number and social diversification of hospitals construction is at least an important way to solve the problem of difficult medical treatment.Exploring the construction mode of high-end socially-run specialized hospitals is also an effective supplement to the medical system. With the gradual development of the domestic medical system construction, and based on the regional characteristics of China’s urban development and population distribution, the development of medical service clusters in the country is likely to become an important part of the regional medical system similar to Europe and America. The rise of cluster medical services in China is trying to strip off the special needs medical services in the original public hospitals, using its agglomeration effect to provide necessary support for the society to run medical services, and providing diversified medical treatment channels;on the other hand, large expanding cities in China has the needs of another "University Town" or "Science City" concept to promote the operation of land finance continuously. The cost-effectiveness of agglomeration is not seen in the public first-class hospitals, but socially-run specialized hospitals need to take advantage of the scale effect and spillover effect of cluster medical services to enter a virtuous cycle of capital flows. From the current mechanism of the national medical system to deal with large-scale social medical problems(Novel Coronavirus Pneumonia),the incremental and diversified construction of the medical system will still be the subject of exploration in the future medical market. The spatial clustering of medical resources by medical service clusters can be closed requisition in short-term,and put into use as an isolated centralized treatment point immediately. From this perspective, medical service clusters also have a strong complementary role in responding to large-scale social medical problems.Based on the research and summary of the development, evolution, industrial characteristics, and scale of several important medical service clusters in the west countries, this article considers that medical service clusters have their common characteristics under the bottom-up construction model: the scale ranges mostly within1 square kilometer 、orientation is oriented to the regional population, attracting large-scale medical tourism crowds 、 the industry is biased towards high-end high-premium specialist services and the general layout of the space is centered on general hospitals, and the specialized hospitals are developed in a wraparound manner. At the same time,it was found that medical service clusters are not well established in European countries with a well-established medical system, but with less land area and regional influence. The United States,on the contrary, has incubation of medical service clusters in regional regions relying on world-class universities.Regional layout and citis conditions are important screening factors for the construction of medical service clusters. This article also analyzes and summarizes the existing domestic medical service cluster construction cases in detail, focusing on the long-established and well-developed Hongqiao International Medical Center and Pudong International Medical Park, both of them show innovation and inadequacy under construction, development and operation. The larger survival crisis lies in the attraction of medical talent and the development of socially-run specialized hospitals. This still needs to rely on the continued liberalization of national policies and the innovative research of medical system personnel on the operation and construction model. It also needs to wait for the public accumulation of trust in diversified medical practice, but the current impact of the construction of medical service clusters driven by the development of new towns on urban space cannot wait for them to "live" before discussing error correction. In contrast, the intensive Hongqiao model has a higher generalization and research value. |
