| Damping technology is an indispensable part of disaster prevention and reduction engineering,among which viscoelastic damper plays a very important role.However,the viscoelastic damper made in China has the disadvantages of low viscoelastic material loss factor,incomplete performance test and research,and high requirements for the use environment.This paper focuses on the improvement of viscoelastic material inside viscoelastic damper to improve the performance of viscoelastic damper.In this paper,a new type of viscoelastic damper was made by adding arimon fiber mesh into rubber.The experimental study on the effect of fatigue resistance,deformation correlation,frequency correlation,temperature correlation and loading sequence on the damper performance was carried out,and the linear equivalent model was fitted to the test results.Through experimental research and analysis,the following conclusions are drawn:(1)the energy dissipation capacity of viscoelastic materials decreases with the increase of strain amplitude,and the new viscoelastic damper containing arimon fiber network decreases less than the original viscoelastic damper.(2)the stiffness of the new viscoelastic damper containing arimon fiber network is higher than that of the original viscoelastic damper.Moreover,for the building structure,the total energy dissipation capacity of the original viscoelastic damper is less than that of the new viscoelastic damper containing arimon fiber network under the same displacement.(3)although the test shows that the frequency correlation of viscoelastic dampers is small,the loading frequency has a greater influence on the new viscoelastic dampers containing aramids than the original ones.(4)the normal operating temperature range of the new viscoelastic damper containing arrayon fiber network is larger than that of the original viscoelastic damper,and the former is less affected by the loading temperature than the latter,which is more suitable for practical engineering environment.(5)because of the marlins effect of rubber,the mechanical properties of viscoelastic dampers under reverse loading are generally lower than those under forward loading,while the new viscoelastic dampers containing aramids reduce the influence of loading sequence on the mechanical properties of viscoelastic dampers. |
