| China is a big country in marine science and technology.The development of marine science and technology is of great significance to build a marine power and achieve the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.ZC is a marine scientific research company,engaged in marine engineering testing,marine applied physics research,marine environment research,etc.It is a capital-intensive company,has its own scientific research ship,and also a technology-intensive and cost-intensive company.There are many kinds of ship operating costs in ZC company,among which the largest proportion is the cost of ship fuel,the cost of materials and spare parts,and the cost of ship maintenance.Therefore,the control of the above four costs is the key to ZC company’s ship operating cost control.This study focuses on the high operating cost of ZC company’s experimental ship.Firstly,this paper introduces the research background,research significance,research status at home and abroad,research methods and writing ideas.Secondly,the related theories used in this paper are introduced.Thirdly,the ZC company and its ship operating cost composition and status are introduced,and the problems of company cost management are identified,such as low procurement efficiency,weak bargaining power,unreasonable inventory structure and inventory quantity,fuel costs management problems and high maintenance costs,and the reasons for these cost problems are analyzed.Finally,we propose some solutions.Through this study,the following solutions are provided: Firstly,the company can simplify the procurement process,increase part-time procurement staff and improve procurement efficiency,and reduce the number of suppliers,increase the procurement volume of a single supplier,improve the bargaining power of company,and reduce procurement costs.Secondly,optimize inventory structure and inventory quantity,reduce inventory to control inventory cost.Thirdly,we establish a fuel cost management system,use economic speed to navigate,reasonably choose fuel purchase contract,fueling time and fueling port.Fourthly,we determine the repair method and dock repair time interval based on the ship status,choose the ship repair manufacturer reasonably,reasonably determine the minor repair project and the ship repair project,strengthen the supervision and management of the ship repair process,and implement the incentives for ship self-repair to reduce the cost of ship repair and maintenance.Finally,we propose safeguards to ensure the implementation of cost management programs.Thereby reducing costs and increasing profits.This study has certain guiding significance for the strategy of reducing costs for the experimental ship management-related enterprises. |
