Urban rail transit has become the main way for urban residents to travel because of its safety and punctuality.However,the limited service capacity of rail transit system is not enough to meet the increasing demand of passengers’ travel,especially in the morning and evening rush hours of working days,a large number of passengers are concentrated in the entrance and platform of the station,causing serious congestion.Due to the relevance of stations in the line,the congestion problem of upstream station often affects the downstream station.Overcrowding brings some security risks to passengers’ travel.In order to alleviate the passenger flow congestion of urban rail transit,it is necessary to formulate a reasonable flow limiting strategy.In view of the above problems,this paper fully considers the matching relationship between the supply capacity of urban rail transit system and the demand of passenger flow,and studies the single-line and multi-station passenger flow collaborative limiting problem of urban rail transit in the peak period of working days.(1)Firstly,from the perspectives of supply and demand,the characteristics of inbound passenger flow demand in urban rail transit lines are analyzed.This paper expounds the formation of passenger flow and the influencing factors of passenger flow scale in the line,describes the time and spatial distribution characteristics of passenger flow,points out that the imbalance between supply and demand is the cause of passenger flow congestion,and summarizes the congestion propagation condition of passenger flow between stations in the line during the peak period.Secondly,the service capacity of the line is analyzed from three aspects: entrance facilities,platform and interval.(2)This paper defines the specific connotation of the problem of cooperative passenger flow limiting of single line and multi stations in peak period,and summarizes the necessity and common measures of passenger flow limiting.After studying the basic theory,the trigger index and evaluation index of passenger flow limiting are determined.The specific flow chart of single-line and multi-station cooperative passenger flow limiting scheme is established,and the passenger flow limiting control period,passenger flow limiting station,number and intensity of passenger flow limiting are further explained.(3)Considering the constraints of passenger flow demand,boarding and alighting behavior,as well as the capacity of entrance,platform and interval,taking the optimal number of passengers entering each station in each passenger flow limiting control period as the decision variable,taking the minimum average travel delay time of passengers and the maximum number of passengers on the line as the objective function.The model that the cooperative passenger flow limiting of single-line and multi-station in urban rail transit peak period is established.The improved particle swarm optimization algorithm is used to search for the optimal solution.(4)Combined with the actual passenger flow data of the morning peak(7:00-9:00)of a certain working day in the down direction of the north section of Beijing Metro Line 8,the paper analyzes the passenger flow congestion of the line,and develops the cooperative passenger flow limiting scheme of each station in the line according to the passenger flow limiting model constructed in this paper,which verifies the validity of the model.
