With the rapid development of electronics,computer and communication technology,car navigation has become more and more important.With car navigation,you can determine the direction and distance between the car’s location and destination,determine the best driving route,provide drivers with information about road conditions,resolve congestion and reduce the incidence of traffic accidents.At present,vehicle navigation systems mostly use global positioning GPS systems and SINS navigation systems.There is a certain error in simply using the GPS positioning system,which leads to a reduction in accuracy.Therefore,the combination of GPS / SINS has certain research value.In this article,we deeply study the principle and related technologies of GPS embedded navigation system,and realize the accurate positioning during vehicle driving through the complementary advantages of GPS / SINS.This dissertation focuses on vehicle integrated navigation system.First,we reviewed the background,significance,and status of the study.Secondly,the technical applications of GPS,SINS and GPS / SINS integrated navigation system are introduced in detail.The hardware of the positioning and navigation system is described,and the hardware system is analyzed and tested.Thirdly,based on the system’s hardware platform,ubuntu14.04 was selected as the underlying operating system to complete the bootloader transplantation and kernel transplantation,and combined with the hardware platform to set up an operating environment for the car navigation system.It also introduces the protocol layer,interface layer,processing layer,and human-computer interaction layer of the software system,and analyzes the three algorithms of the Kalman filter to select the optimal algorithm to fuse the data information to obtain the vehicle’s attitude,position and Speed and other navigation information,finally completed the designanddevelopmentofapplication software.Finally,based on the in-depth study of the overall system technology,simulation experiments are performed for the performance of the SINS / GPS loose combination and tight combination,and the Kalman filter algorithm is used to perform the filter analysis experiment.Latitude and longitude,vehicle speed,and attitude.Finally,it is loaded on the car navigation system for the final functional test and analysis.The test results show that the GPS / SINS combination system can provide us with reliable and accurate positioning data.
