Under the background of economic globalization,the safety,environmental protection and resource problems caused by discarded products in the manufacturing industry are particularly prominent.Therefore,the product remanufacturing industry has been generally concerned by the manufacturing industries in the world.As an important part of aftersales service of remanufactured products,warranty service is increasingly becoming a powerful tool for remanufacturing enterprises to enhance their competitiveness and open up markets.Especially with the early rework of products warranty increased the extent of early failure,businesses pay more and more attention to the quality of the end of production testing,that burn-in test.At the same time,it is necessary to analyze the warranty service optimization of remanufactured products from the behavioral perspective because of the greater uncertainty in the warranty and remanufacturing cost of products under burn-in test,which may lead to manufacturers’ loss aversion behavior.In view of this,it is an important issue with practical significance to study optimization of product remanufacturing and warranty service considering burn-in testOn the basis of the existing literature,this paper focuses on the new features of product remanufacturing and warranty service in the burn-in test.By introducing the loss aversion behavior of the remanufacturers,we had further studt the optimizition problem of remanufacturing and warranty service when the burn-in test is considered.So there are three aspects in the research work:(1)The optimization problem of product remanufacturing and warranty service considering burn-in test was studied.Firstly,based on the new features of product remanufacturing and warranty service under the burn-in test environment,we had established the optimization model of product remanufacturing and warranty service.Secondly,according to the different used age of remanufactured products,and based on the four product warranty service strategies,we used the numerical simulation to obtain the optimal profit expectation of remanufacturers and the optimal burn-in test time and warranty period.Finally,according to the changing trend of remanufactured product warranty service strategies,we clarified the relationship between the four warranty service strategies and the historical service life of remanufactured products.What’s more,we used the sensitivity analysis to explore the impact of burn-in test and warranty parameters for warranty service strategy.(2)The optimization problem of product remanufacturing and warranty service of burn-in test under remanufactors’ loss aversion was studied.Firstly,based on the burn-in test of remanufactured products,we established the optimization model of product remanufacturing and warranty service under burn-in test when the remanufactor is loss avoidance and solved it.Secondly,we analyzed the influence of remanufacturer’s loss avoidance behavior and incomplete repair level on warranty service strategy of remanufactured products.Finally,we discussed warranty service strategies for remanufactured products of different age which history is used,and we applied sensitivity analysis to provide some managerial implications for remanufacturing burn-in test and warranty services.(3)Potential applied research:The optimization problem of engine remanufacturing and warranty services in A Company.Firstly,we described the company profile,the engine remanufacturing and warranty service of A Company.Secondly,we analyzed the optimization problem of the engine remanufacturing and warranty service strategy when the burn-in test is considered,including the age of product which history is used and burn-in test time.Finally,based on A remanufactor’s loss aversion behavior,we discussed the loss aversion is how to affect the optimization of engine remanufacturing and warranty service strategy,therefor,we provided the useful theoretical guidance support to A remanufactor when he makes the decision of production operations and the aftersales warranty.Baesd on the establishment of optimization model on product remanufacturing and warranty service under burn-in test,and the formulation of warranty service strategy,we enriched the theory of product remanufacturing and warranty service.The decision making result is more accurate and in line with the actual situation,when we make the decision under loss aversion behavior.What’s more,this research work has an important theoretical reference value for the actual operation of remanufacturing enterprises.
