Mechanism And Process Mechanism Of RAP Cold Mixing Plant Regeneration

As the asphalt pavement of China gradually went into remodeling stage,the study of recycling waste asphalt mixture gradually carried out.In understanding current domestic situation and international develop trend,the author carried out the research of cold mixing plant regeneration.The paper,firstly from the classical theory of the modern colloid chemistry(Deryagin-landau-verway-overbee,DLVO),analysed the aging mechanism of asphalt and the regeneration mechanism of waste asphalt mixture;secondly through regeneration of different aging asphalt,analysed and evaluated the new type of asphalt regenerant remodeling waste asphalt mixture;thirdly analysed and summarized regeneration mechanism of cold mixing plant regeneration,established process mechanism of cold mixing plant regeneration.The results show that:①The aging of asphalt and aggregate show that:the asphalt becomes hard、brittle and the extension of asphalt decreases;the gradation of aggregate changes,but the technical indicators of aggregate changes a little,still satisfies the application requirements②A type of asphalt recycling agents on one-cycle aging basic asphalt and SBS modified asphalt have better effect;B type of asphalt recycling agents on the three-cycle aging basic asphalt and SBS modified asphalt have better effect.③Improved Marshall design method is the base of cold mixing plant regeneration design method.④Through cold mixing plant regeneration design,the waste asphalt mixing plant cold recycled mix design recycled asphalt mixture have good strength,resistance to deformation and low-temperature deformation.
