The anti-abrasion performance of concrete is one of the hot issues at domestic and foreign,and ultra-high performance concrete is also a research hotspot.The superior performance of ultra-high performance concrete enables it to be used in certain important parts of the project.In this paper,Ultra High Performance Concrete(UHPC)is developed in the laboratory for the problem of large-diameter bed-load sediments on the surface of sand discharge gates at the canal head and flood discharge and drainage holes in mountain reservoirs.Impact abrasion test and application research.On the basis of determining the compressive strength,the underwater ball method was used to test the abrasion resistance of different kinds of anti-abrasion concrete.The main conclusions are as follows:(1)In the ultra-high-performance concrete mixed with steel fiber,suitable selection of copper-plated steel fiber,volume content should be controlled between 0.5%-1%.(2)In the UHPC abrasion resistance test,it was found that the UHPCs performance indicators after the removal of coarse aggregates significantly reduce the sensitivity of aggregate strength,and the impact strength,compressive strength,etc.,are not significantly different.Ordinary natural sand can completely replace the harder iron ore and quartz sand.(3)The main factors that determine the abrasion resistance of ultra-high performance concrete are the water/binder ratio and curing age,followed by the type of aggregate and the amount of steel fiber.(4)In actual project use,there is no need to deliberately pursue a lower water-binder ratio.The UHPC’s strength should be based on the premise of good fluidity to determine the actual concrete water-cement ratio at the site.In the test case of this experiment,the range of water to glue ratio was selected between 0.18-0.22.(5)During the curing period of 60 days,the compressive strength,flexural strength and abrasion resistance of UHPC were positively correlated with the curing age.UHPC’s compressive strength,flexural strength and abrasion resistance increased with the increase of curing age.The strength will increase.UHPC’s curing age shall not be less than 3 days,and conditions may be maintained until 28 days.(6)The wear rate is more consistent with the actual abrasion at the site than the anti-crushing strength.It is recommended that not only the anti-crushing strength be used as the index for evaluating the anti-abrasion performance of the anti-milling concrete,but also the anti-impact ability and the wear rate as auxiliary evaluation indicators.
