Abstract/Summary:
Traditional manual target reporting has the disadvantages of low security,human error,and large workload.With the development of technology,automatic target scoring system has been used in shooting competitions and training for troops.The automatic target scoring system relies on the development of software and hardware,and has the advantages of safety,efficiency and high accuracy,which can greatly reduce manual participation and avoid uncertain factors in the target scoring process.At present,most automatic target scoring system has disadvantages such as high cost,difficult to maintain and carry.It has great significance to design a low-cost,highly automated and portable automatic target scoring system.In view of the shortcomings of the current target reporting system,the paper developed a portable target scoring system based on image processing technology with communicating wireless.The system can be divided into hardware selection and image processing algorithm.Using Raspberry Pi to take and transfer image,and Android terminal to process the image and display the results.Image processing algorithm is the most important part of the system.Analyzing the feature of target image,developed an effective target surface extraction algorithm based on the smallest external quadrilateral.Then compares the effective target surface images which taken before and after shooting,and uses the mathematical morphology method to remove loops and noises.After getting bullet hole information and determine the correction coefficient,calculates the relative position between the bullet hole and the target center,and realizes the judgment of the ring value and bearing,the score can be accurate to one decimal place.Finally,according to the image processing algorithm proposed in this paper,design and develops the slave computer software framework based on Raspberry Pi,including image acquisition and wireless data transmission function;and the human-computer interaction system based on the Android mobile terminal,can display the corrected effective target image and shooting scoring,and establish a local database for shooting personnel to save personal shooting records.The result shows that the system can adapt well to indoor and outdoor environments,with high degree of automation and good real-time performance,and the mainstream mobile devices based on the Android system in the market can be used as mobile terminals for the system,with strong portability and compatibility.This system can meet the target requirement of daily shooting training and has certain reference value for practical application.
