In recent years,with the rapid development of the power industry,people’s demand for electricity is increasing,the structure of substation monitoring system is more and more complex,and the application situation is gradually increasing.Therefore,the security and stability requirements of the monitoring system of substation are gradually increased,and there is a danger of high voltage level in the transformer substation.The wrong operation can lead to personal safety,while the traditional charging display monitoring system has simple structure,single warning mode,which can not achieve better monitoring effect,and it is necessary to design and study a set of safe and stable substation monitoring system.In this paper,a new type of substation monitoring system is designed,which can improve the safety,real time and reliability problems.The system is composed of the upper computer and the lower unit,using the MFC software program as the upper computer,and the monitoring device of STM32 as the main control chip as the lower computer.The monitoring system USES the IEC60870-5-104 protocol(IEC104 protocol)for communication,increasing the reliability of data transmission.Meanwhile,the UDP protocol is used to carry out data transmission,and the real-time information of the monitoring device is uploaded to the top computer software,which realize the remote real-time monitoring and control based on UDP Socket.First of all,by comparing the different characteristics of TCP and UDP protocol,it points to the advantages of the UDP protocol application in the upper part of the design section.And then to analyze the IEC103 and the IEC104 protocol,because the IEC104 protocol is more meet the design requirements of this project.Finally,the IEC104 statute was studied in depth,and the basic structure,transmission process and message analysis of the data unit of the statute were carefully understood,and the relevant functions of IEC104 protocol were selected,and the application of the protocol in the monitoring device was implemented in the monitoring device environment.The lower machine part design,including the design,debugging of hardware and software part programming.First of all,familiar with the function of each hardware device module,such as network module and speech module,ultrasonic distance measuring module,the module of data collected will be organized into a message in the form of feedback to upper computer,which can be received after the message parsing the status of each monitoring equipment,at the same time voice module for the current state of the monitoring device voice monitoring early warning.The lower computer program is composed of three modules:main program flow module,data acquisition module and monitoring module.Each module realizes its corresponding function and completes data collection and transmission.Finally,the monitoring system was tested,the stability of the PC software IEC104 protocol testing aspects:in the process of multiple testing of the PC,there was no loss of message,repeated transmission of the message,and incorrect message transmission,and the data was sent to the server and the client at a very fast speed,without carton or delay,when the data was transmitted by UDP.The lower machine monitoring devices:speech and lighting monitoring showed normal,meet the application requirements,stability monitoring device continues to work 72 hours,no false positives,crash,restart,etc.
