Spring is a kind of mechanical parts with the functions of buffer,shock absorption and energy storage.It is widely used in many fields,such as automobile,aerospace,railway vehicles and so on.In recent years,the automotive industry focus on energy saving,emission reduction,and it is urgent for the automotive industry to develop lightweight and high performance.In this paper,T-700 SC carbon fiber was taken as the reinforcement and AG-80/328 resin was taken as the matrix,using the methods of resin transfer molding,hand lay-up molding and filament winding to prepare carbon fiber composite helical spring and the appropriate arrangement of carbon fiber composite helical spring was designed.Meanwhile,the effect of optimum formula of resin matrix,optimal post treatment process on the properties of carbon fiber composites spring was studied.In addition,based on ANSYS,the finite element analysis of carbon fiber composite helical spring was carried out and provides a theoretical reference for the preparation of carbon fiber composite helical spring.AG-80/328/F-44 single resin matrix carbon fiber composites were prepared,and the carbon fiber composites were prepared with AG-80/328 composite resin matrix in different ratio.The research shows that the stiffness of the carbon fiber composite is poor and the toughness is better under the AG-80/328/F-44 resin matrix,When AG-80:328 is 1:1,the stiffness and toughness of carbon fiber composites are both better.The tensile strength,impact strength,compressive strength and bending strength are 825.6MPa,and 79.22kJ/m~2,and 110.89MPa,and 1089MPa respectively.The fracture surface morphology is relatively good,CF and EP interface is nearly no lamination phenomenon,and the fracture morphology shows toughness.The effect of post treatment on the properties of carbon fiber composites was studied,the study shows that the appropriate post treatment temperature can optimize the mechanical properties of CF/EP composites under room temperature curing agent.The tensile properties and the morphology of the tensile fracture surface reflect that the proper post treatment process can optimize the CF/EP composites property.The perform structure of CFRP helical spring was designed and CFRP helical spring is mainly prepared with different carbon fiber arrangement,and the basic structure parameters of the CFRP helical spring were Ho=125mm,d=9.5mm,D2=75mm,n1=5.5circle,p=20mm.The effect of carbon fiber arrangement on the stiffness of CFRP coil spring was studied.CFRP helical spring was prepared with different core shaft twisting carbon fiber twist,layer of carbon fiber coated with different outer layers and carbon fiber angle of different outer layers.The results show when the carbon fiber core shaft twist is 45r/m,namely AA=45r/m,CFRP spring stiffness is 8.55N/mm.When the carbon fiber cladding layer is 5,the BB=5 layer,CFRP spiral spring stiffness is 8.67N/mm.When the carbon fiber winding angle is±45 degree,CC=±45 degree,the CFRP helical spring stiffness is8.59N/mm.Cross-sectional of CFRP helical spring with different carbon fiber arrangement was characterized by scanning electron microscopy,When the carbon fiber core shaft rotation is 45 r/m,the carbon fiber winding layer is 5 layers and the carbon fiber winding angle is±45 degrees.Which are consistent with the design of the CFRP helical spring.The physical properties,mechanical properties and research and development cost of metal material helical spring and CFRP helical spring were compared under the same parameters.The results show that the weight of the CFRP helical springs is 1/8 of metal helical spring,the stiffness of CFRP helical spring is 1/2 of metal helical spring,the load-deformation of CFRP helical spring is 1/4 of metal helical spring,But the development cost of the CFRP coil spring is 200 times of the development cost of the metal coil spring.The finite element model of CFRP helical spring is established by ANSYS,and the finite element model of CFRP helical spring is obtained.After the mesh is divided into the finite element model,the maximum shear stress,the minimum shear stress and the total deformation of CFRP helical spring are 939.07MPa,939.85MPa and 204.74mm,respectively.And nephogram of the maximum shear stress,the total deformation and the pressure of the spring and the height of the CFRP helical spring was got. |
