Research On The Regional Construction Mechanism And Design Method Of The New Type Of Seaweed House

Seaweed house is the typical residential building in the coastal area of Jiaodong peninsula,its roof is made of dried seaweed into the thatch,its wall is made of granite.Unique materials and construction techniques make the seaweed house a lot of advantages,such as cool in summer and warm in winter,wind and rain resistance,perfectly adapted to the living environment of the residents along the coast.And it is an important historical and architectural heritage.But because of the change of modern social environment,seaweed material shortage and the function of backward,the number of seaweed house substantially reduced,traditional seaweed house has been destroyed and abandoned,the protection and development prospects worrying.If not actively seeking change,it will not be able to adapt to the modern society and be eliminated by the times.This paper is based on the full and systematic study of the modernization of traditional vernacular architecture and the construction of traditional seaweed house,based on the excellent physical properties of sea grass as the building materials,further exploration and research on the key technology of the construction of new seaweed house from three aspect: 1.Modern application of seaweed building materials;2.Modern interpretation of the traditional construction;3.Intervention of modern structural system.Then according to the standardized construction as the core of the new construction mechanism and design method,complete conceptual design of of new seaweed house,to meet the functional and emotional needs of modern society.The purpose is to provide help and reference for the construction mode of modern seaweed house and new design ideas for the expression of regional building materials.Toexplore the reasonable development direction of traditional residential building,to provide reference for the construction of human settlements in the coastal area of Jiaodong peninsula.
