| The modified beam-column connections of steel frame can keep the plastic hinge away from the connection,it can also improve ductility and energy dissipation capacity of the connection.The plastic hinge evolution mechanism of the connection reflects the evolution,which is the plasticity development and even breakthrough,after material yield.It revealed the energy dissipation mechanism during the formation of plastic hinge,and it also has important engineering significance.In the paper,combining test results,selecting elastoplastic hardening model,adopting numerical simulation method to do nonlinear analysis on the strengthen-weaken connections,in order to investigate the plastic hinge evolution mechanism.Followings are the main works of this paper:(1)In this paper,selecting three type connection(expanded airfoil,the cover plate reinforce sex,dog bone)which are commonly used in engineering practice.Adopting the nonlinear analysis method to study the plastic hinge distribution and the failure form pattern of these three type connections.Then comparing the results with the experimental data.(2)Based on the results of numerical simulation of three connections above,discussing the nature of the formation of plastic hinges connection.Analyzing the plastic hinge evolution mechanism by the stress state of steel beam flange and plate and the stress distribution along the height direction of the plate.Comparing the difference of three kinds of connection together,to discuss the plastic hinge evolution mechanism of different connection type.(3)Using the numerical simulation method with changing the thickness of flange an web,to explore the discipline which flange width-to-thickness ratio and plate height-thickness ratio effect on the plastic hinge evolution.And discussing the plastic hinge evolution mechanism of connection under different parameters. |
