Due to depletion of fossil energy and serious environmental pollution from burning,people become aware of the importance of searching for clean energy and renewable energy to replace traditional energy.Solar energy is rich in China.However,solar energy is instable and solar fraction is small.The weakness directly restricts the solar energy utilization.To solve this problem,on basis of previous micro encapsulation phase change thermal storage water tank,with combination of thermal storage and release characteristics of phase-change material,a kind of circular truncated cone shaped solar energy phase-change thermal storage water tank is proposed in this paper.Medium-low temperature paraffin phase change material is chosen for its suitable phase change temperature and high storage capacity.Circular truncated cone shaped phase change thermal storage tank is heated gradually by low temperature water in tank with paraffin phase changing.The phase change material in the interlayer plays the role of "shifting the peak and filling the valley".Numerical simulation is adopted to acquire the best inclination angle.With a constant total storage volume(100L),the optimum inclination angle of 105 ° is obtained by adjusting inclination angle of the interlayer of the tank gradually(75°,90°,105°,respectively).Based on the mentioned above,the experiment is conducted to gain temperature profile for the solar energy phase change thermal storage tank system.Compared with the result of numerical simulation of 90°inclination angle,it can be concluded that thermal storage performance of circular truncated cone shaped phase change thermal storage tank is the better.At the same time,the heat release characteristics of phase change thermal storage tank with equal volume was tested in this paper.And the temperature stratification phenomenon in the tank was more obvious.
