The braking energy recovery technology is one of the effective methods to improve the energy efficiency of vehicles and solve the environment pollution.In this paper,based on the self-sustaining power assisted bicycle,for the research of braking energy recovery technology,the main contents are as follows.First of all,analyzing the self-sustaining power assisted bicycle energy recovery chain and the dynamics of braking process.Through the analysis of the whole chain of braking energy recovery,it is concluded that the main factors influencing the braking energy recycling efficiency;Based on the dynamics analysis of braking process,it deduces the corresponding battery recycling energy calculation formula under the only motor regenerative braking or regenerative braking and mechanical friction braking composite braking.Second,formulating control strategy for braking energy recovery syste.On the premise of ensuring the safety and stability of braking,select the maximum braking current control strategy,so that the braking energy recovery efficiency reach the maximum.Establish the mathematical simulation model of the self-sustaining power assisted bicycle braking energy recovery system in the Matlab/Simulink and make a simulation,to get the motor armature current in the different braking conditions,lithium battery charging current,recycling energy in the process of speed and braking,and verify the feasibility of braking energy recovery control strategy.Then,designing the braking energy recovery controller of the self-sustaining power assisted bicycle.The controller chooses Hongjing company’s STC15F2K60S2 single-chip micro computer,the controller includes: signal collection,man-machine exchange display,data communication,motor regenerative braking,complete the hardware circuit and the software program design of the controller.Finally,making cycling experiments.Including three of the most commonly used braking: the long ramp speed limiting braking,moderate braking and emergency braking.Collect experimental data in the process of acquisition,analyze and calculate the experimental data,it is concluded that the three different energy recovery efficiency under the three braking mode,The energy recovery efficiency of the three braking modes is between 8% and 19% respectively.
