Based on a series of excellent characteristics of traditional electrostatic precipitator,it has become a new trend in the current purification field.However,the removal of fine particles and the cleaning and anti-corrosion of the dust collector after long-term operation of electrostatic precipitator are also another major problem.This paper develops a new type of wire mesh electrostatic precipitator.The wire mesh acts as a filter outside the traditional orifice plate electrode.Because the wire mesh wire is relatively thin,it is easy to be corroded by acidic or water-containing dust under long-term operation,so the laboratory considers coating the surface of the wire mesh electrode with a layer of PTFE Membrane(PTFE).In this experiment,a simple wire mesh electrostatic precipitator was built to measure the volt-ampere characteristics and dust removal efficiency.It was compared with the traditional wire barrel electrostatic precipitator to test the effect of the wire mesh electrode and its film on the performance of the electrostatic precipitator,and determine the best Optimal operating parameters to ensure the efficient operation of the new electrostatic precipitator.Studies have shown that: after the metal wire mesh on the outer layer of the orifice plate is discharged,the positive charge generated by the ionized gas neutralizes the negative charge moving to the dust collecting electrode,which weakens the discharge current;the smaller the wire mesh aperture,the more obvious the current drop;The tip discharge electrode is superior to the other two types of discharge electrode.The thickness and reasonable spacing of the burr discharge electrode are the key factors to improve the performance of the burr discharge electrode;the metal wire mesh can play a secondary filtering role,which is more efficient than the wire barrel electrostatic precipitator.Improved;the greater the density of the screen,the higher the dust removal efficiency;the dust removal efficiency is better than the forward air intake when the air is in the opposite direction;the dust removal efficiency between different screen filtration areas has little effect;the low specific resistance dust is easier to release the charge,Is not conducive to dust collection;the relative humidity increases,the corona initiation voltage decreases.The discharge current of the wire mesh coated with PTFE is slightly lower than that when it is not coated,and the decrease is not obvious;the coated wire mesh has weakened dust adsorption performance and reduced dust removal efficiency;at the same wire mesh density,the dust removal efficiency after coating All are slightly reduced;the dust removal efficiency under different air intake directions is closer than that of the uncoated,and the gap is reduced;the dust removal efficiency of the same specific resistance dust after the peritoneum is also slightly reduced;at the same relative humidity,compared to the uncoated dust removal The efficiency is reduced.
