Analysis Of Behavior Characteristics Of Low Age And Low Driving Age Drivers

With the rapid development of China’s economy,the number of cars is increasing,coupled with the relative lag of urban traffic construction and management、low per capita vehicle ownership and other reasons,the traffic safety problem in our country is still more prominent.Taking age and driving age as the starting point,this paper makes a series of analysis and research on drivers’ driving behavior、driving emotion and driving ability,and explores the driving behavior characteristics of different types of drivers.First of all,the driving age of drivers is defined for the purpose of this paper,and proposes to make a comparative study of low age and low driving age,low driving age and high driving age,and then conducts a self-evaluation survey of drivers based on Driver Behaviour Questionnaire.Factor analysis extracts a total of four abnormal driving behavior factors: violation,memory error,distraction error and subjective error.Memory errors and subjective errors had the highest and lowest scores in the two types of drivers,respectively,male drivers had significantly more subjective errors and abnormal driving behavior,and the number of "violation of road traffic rules in the past three years" is also more than female drivers.Drivers with high frequency of memory errors are also very likely to have abnormal driving behaviors of distraction errors.Distraction error factor can predict the occurrence of accidents in both low driving age and high driving age in the past three years.Secondly,a driving emotion scale is constructed,which includes three aspects: driving anger,driving nervousness and driving irritability.The research shows that the low age and the low driving age have homogeneity in the direction of driving emotion,the young age group is more likely to produce mood fluctuation and the range of mood fluctuation is larger,and the female drivers of low driving age are more likely to produce driving nervousness;compared with the high driving age,low driving age drivers are more likely to cause driving emotion.The driving emotion scores of low age and low driving age can effectively predict the aspect of driving tension,and there is a positive correlation between the low driving age and the occurrence of driving irritability;driving anger and driving tension are effectively predicted in the high driving age group,and there is a significant positive and negative correlation with driving age,while low driving age and high driving age drivers show positive correlation and negative correlation to driving irritability.Finally,based on the half-cabin driving simulator with fixed base,two common dangerous test scenes in the road traffic environment in China are built by using SCANeR.Through the experiment,it is found that the difference of driving ability between young age and low driving age is much smaller than that of driving behavior and driving ability,and the difference is that the vehicle handling ability of young drivers is slightly better.In the face of emergencies,senior drivers can perceive and respond more quickly,their braking methods are more diversified,and braking and direction rotation are more direct and effective.The internal difference of low-age drivers is much greater than that of high-age drivers.
