| The pH indicator has important applications in many fields,such as environmental detection,food preservation and pH sensors.On the other hand,efficient detection of alkaline organic solvents is also very important in the fields of environmental protection and biology.With outstanding aggregation-induced luminescence(AIE)effects,TPE-substituted chalcone compounds have been widely used in mechanical discoloration materials,chemical sensors,cell color reagents,and synthesis of near-infrared aza-BODIPY dyes.However,TPE-substituted chalcones which can function as pH indicator have not yet been reported until now.In this dissertation,A series of TPE-substituted chalcone based pH indicators have been designed and synthesized.These pH indicators can be applied in detection of alkaline solutions.The photophysical properties of the TPE-substituted chalcone pH indicators have also been fully studied.The results showed that the new TPE-substituted chalcones pH indicators have good pH color change effect and continuous pH color change points(10,11,and 12,respectively).Therefore,the new TPE-substituted chalcones can be used in the preparation of pH test papers.The new TPE-substituted chalcones can also be applied in detection of alkaline solutions. |
